Hi all, I have a couple 11x15’ shed with a funky door and I was wanting input on how you’d set it up. I’m thinking of building a wall inside of the shed to create a sealed room and then that would give me space for the water/nutes/reverse osmosis etc. I never like to walk into a flower room from the exterior. This would give me about a 11’X12’ space to work with. It’s been about 10 years since I had a room and things have changed a bit.
Current design would be to run 10’x4’ trays along each wall with a 2.5 foot walk way down the middle. I don’t have a ton of height but my buddy said Gavita 315lec would be a great low pull option to run and much less expensive in power. He said to run two red spectrum on the outside with a red in the middle for a total of 3 lights per side. But Gavita says those are more for a 3x3 than a 4x4. And this LED stuff is crazy… I want to say that the goal is to grow the best possible smoke I can grow. Yield is less important.
How would you build this out? I have another room I can mom and flower inside of too, so that I’m always rocking runs. But right now I’m hoping to design and order the things I need for the main flower room. Anyone have any thoughts?
I see you have already thought of your mothers and clones area which will help you along with continuously growing good weed.
You have not mentioned airflow, which is very important. Think of your temperature changes between summer and winter outside. You want to be pulling cool air into your room, and exhausting the hot stale air out, somewhere discreet. You might want to consider two fans, pulling air in and out, or just an active exhaust? Next thing is air circulation in, you need a fan inside giving those girls some wind.
Maybe something to look at too. One last thing, you say you have alot of height in your room? Consider raising your pots so its easier to check soil, water and saves you bending over, maybe a small table on wheels so you can easily move the pots around. Just an idea to use the height.

I was watching the canna cribs pheno hunteing exotic strains episode at the top of this forum and they have some really cool compact and space efficiency strategies.
i especially like the sliding trays @ 21.50 minutes to fully use all the space but allow access when needed.

I havnt used but the hlg led lights seem to have a good writeup but as you say its crazy the options out there.
