Depends on how big of a plant your growing. These are 5.5 gallons. I used 4 of them today.

Yeah very nice look at those healthy girls, thick and hardy, be sure to give them lots of circulating air. I am looking forward to seeing them grow, I have been eyeballing those air pots for awhile, if I ever go back to soil I would use these, no doubt.
Also I think it would be interesting to make a 100 liter pot with 3 girls in it. Do some nice autoflower and let them go through a net. Be interesting.

I use coco, or tupur, or pro mix. Not soil
