I turned my lights down a little … idk someone give me a tip
Um thats hard to tell. We need to see the whole plant? Its hard to diagnose without it. We also need more info on how your growing it.
Hey @thebenefitter , like preybird said, we need more details, it could be many reasons.
The leaves may turn yellow while the veins stay green; this is called interveinal chlorosis. Leaf yellowing may be caused by disease, pests or chemical damage (like herbicide drift or too much fertilizer). Could be a nutrient deficiency, or nutrient lockout out due to pH imbalance. Make sure the conditions in your grow room are dialed in.

Update
Their fine, it’s called older leaves. Your plants look healthy as a fresh fed horse.
If mine always looked that good I would be amazed.

Ok cool I just want to stay on top of any and everything … how can I raise my ph though… I think it’s low… my runoff is like golden color and when I ph test it … it stay brown / goldish which is like 5.0 ph
Sounds like your using a test strip kinda thing. If you want to keep your pH ok, you need to start with the nutrient solution before you put it in the pot. If you don’t have one get a PH meter off Amazon. Test strips are ballpark.

I am using the ph tester solution with my runoff
It looks great, but the plant has some slightly yellowish leaves in the middle.
Yeah like @sssportsmfg says get a test meter. And a wise man once told me quality test equipment is as important as quality lights and quality genetics. Anyone can by cheaper things to use. But never go cheap on lights, test meters or genetics. I have bought a lot cheap stuff and i ended up buying better quality equipment again later because what i got before sucks or it broke or didn’t function right. So i always say buying cheap is expensive.
I use
- Blulabs ph/tds meter
- Photobio parr meter
- Hlg leds
- Dakine420 nutrients
And your plants look great.
One thing i think you should be doing is after you water to run off what ph is your nutrients going in the plant at? It should be like 5.6-5.8 and going more towards 6.0-6.2 in flower? How often are you feeding? Are you drying them in between? Do you feed or fertigate everytime you water? Um also where your fresh air coming from? That looks like an unvented closet? Those plants are gonna eat up all the co2 in that closet and need lots of fresh air exchanging. When that doors shut whats the towel doing there? Blocking light? Blocking smell and air? Is that a tiny heater in there? Have you flowered plants in that small area before?
I let them dry out / right when I noticed they aren’t lifting up up anymore I feed … and every other feed I give them nutrients…it’s a heater but I use the fan mode … no heat needed …I use the towel for night so the light won’t be but I usually crack the door … 24hr lights on… no I haven’t flowered in there yet… thinking about getting a tent to flower… I use to grow in 3 different dedicated bedrooms a few years ago… then I had 9 in total 1000 watt hps co2/monitors …ac’s …carbon filters , exhaust in and out…humidity and dehumidifiers in coco noir using canna a & b on an auto feed system I Made… this is my first time in living soil… just something for laughs and giggles since I don’t have the space like I did when I had big money… I don’t even smoke anymore after 28 years… but yeah I’m hoping to get a crop to invest that money into more stuff and possibly a place of its own not around family … I have warehouse dreams which I was on that path before until an ex got me caught up btw I have a co2 bag in there
Ok alright glad you know wtf your doing. It just looked like a first time grow. were always trying to help out so thanks for the heads up!
Living soil is different from coco noir… completely so I’m a rookie all over again… you can never stop learning
Looks like a potassium deficiency that brown, crispy edges on older leaves are a classic sign. Turning down your lights may help a little, but check your pH first (aim for 6.2–6.5 in soil). If pH is fine, try feeding with a PK booster or bloom nutrients. Keep your LED grow lights around 18–24 inches above the canopy and make sure temps aren’t too high. The damaged leaves won’t recover, but new growth should look healthy if fixed.
Hey Prey, AC’s Ph meter is really good. I took a chance and got one, was running the HM digital. The AC is a really good meter, settles quick and is stable, comes up the same day to day instead of having to calibrate every day.
Just a heads up.

I think I’ve missed up. I started Grandpappy purple auto flower. In the back end of 1 flowering in the 12/12 cycle. It’s almost 4 weeks in. I’m not sure but i think it’s already starting to flower. I know it should be at least another month before it starts.
Auto flowers just flower by themselves. Unless it was stressed out it probably normal for those genetics
Other then running the lights 12/12. They have grown exceptionally fast but small. The stats said 45 to 60 days. I haven’t hit 30 day’s into the grow.
