I’m almost convinced it’s using up budget as to attain the same funding next year. It has been 3 years June I’ve been here and this has never stopped, every day they pile it up and every month it washes away. Im just one stupid stoned session away from swimming out and asking.

@happilyretired, when you trim off a leaf, how close do you try to get to the main stem?

Actually I’ve been thinking about that a lot lately because I’ve never really worried about it and just cut it wherever I hit it. My recent observation shows that if you cut it way out it slowly withers away back to the stock. So from here on out I’m trying to cut them all Close. If you check out what @Arrow does on his he cuts everything very tight and never seems to have any issues. There are others as well. So my suggestion would be to cut them close. :+1:t3:

beautifully controlled room happy :ok_hand:…i would have liked to grow automated… alas, this is not the hand i got dealt… :peace_symbol:

2 to 3 mm off the mains… if im feeding on an inside run…so im controlling vpd…all wounds to be sealed with aloe/honey asap…

i will only remove the ugly stuff once a week on the outdoors girls…pinch or cut only depleted leaves…ie…yellow leaves…leaving a lil stem, giving the plant some time to close the hole…

hope this helps…

I don’t do any aloe or honey when I remove leaves. I don’t do much training mostly topping. When I trim that hedge i’ll be removing hundreds of leaves and branches and there’s no way that I could treat every one of those. So I just don’t bother.

There’s a big difference between the way @Arrow and I grow. His plants are the winning cows at the fair. My plants are the cattle that are in the feed lots at the slaughterhouse.:+1:t3::v:t3::laughing:

Hap your trellises are genius, as you know I was gonna do that when I got the funds together, but the more I thought about it the more it didn’t make sense for me, I only have 6 inches on each side of the tent in the coal cellar so you can’t open the tent like it was designed to be, so you can work on the plants from all sides. And all of the side to side rods would have to be unscrewed in the center where joined to even get them out. The door side I could pull straight out the door but the side ones would all have to be taken apart in the middle and taken out in two pieces. And I couldn’t even get to the back of the tent this last grow. So for me it looks like stretchy nets will work best.

As anyone that’s used them knows those nets are a pain when it comes time to take the plants down at the end of the grow, I simplified that somewhat buy chopping each limb trimming and hanging as I went from front to back.
