Here I grow again

What’s up kid. Year, since you went out on your own. And now you got someone working for you! I’m proud of you. I would send you a care package, but I got a bad feeling about it and stop sending them. Glad to see you swinging by.

Looks like you got a hell of a lineup there Hap! Me I just started some new babies from Dragons Flame Genetics. First time for this breeder and first time ever growing regs. I put in 10 to germ, and got 8 up. I might have gotten all of them up but I dumped my seed tray and those two wound up spilling all the dirt out as they weren’t up yet. Anyway 8 out of 10 ain’t bad. These girls have huge leaves on them already and they ain’t but 4-5 inches tall.

Nice you will like them. You can veg them forever if you want! I love photoperiods!!

Hey Prey, yep just like photo fems, I don’t do autoflowers. Have about 8 packs I shouldn’t have bought lol. What I meant was that I have never started regular seeds and had to sort out the males/females. Now having said that, that was all we had way back in the day was regular seeds (outside grows). So we would put in twice the amount and cut out the males when they started flowering. Gets kinda expensive putting in 10 seeds at a time and hoping for 3-5 girls. And all the extra pots etc. Of course now you can send in leaves with a number on each and know the sex before they start showing normally. But at $100 a pack still expensive compared to Fems. I was just lazy, regs are always more potent than fems for the most part.

It looks like the final lineup is in!

I’m getting ready to set this up. It’s going to be a flood drain system. this is gonna be my first grow in a tent. I need to get another exhaust fan. A 3 inch worked great on my cabinet, the tent seems to require more draw to get the same airflow. So I’m gonna pick up a 4 inch. Anyways, in a couple of days, I’ll have a lot more pictures and you’ll see what’s up. :+1:t3::v:t3:

OK, here’s the set up. I got a Coco Matt that’s about 2 inches thick that I put in the bottom. Then I took panda film and covered up the entire tray. Then I sliced X’s Big enough to drop the rockwool cubes through. Then I pulled the flaps up on top of the rockwool. Then I cut squares of panda film to cover up the Slices I made to install The cubes. The idea is no light leaks to the roots. ( this is a flood drain system )

And now we’re off to the races.
I’m gonna leave it like this until I go to flower and then I’m putting in one of my HLG 600’s.

How’s the quality on that Spider Farmer tent Hap? I always promise myself I will get out my clipboard and write everything down, then I don’t.

Great looking start you got going there. What light you using?

The tent seems good enough. It’s the only one I could find this odd size. It has a little pinhole in the door. That’ll be easy enough to fix when I need to. The light I’m currently using is one that I built when I first started growing indoor. It works really good for the veg stage. I will be using a HLG 600 for flowering.

No, this is gonna be a quick turnaround. They’re gonna stay small, Well, a small as I can keep them. As soon as they are big enough to clone, I will cut clones and flip. Trying to get an outdoor grow that I like all the plants in the end, instead of throwing a couple of plants away because I don’t like them. If I get any slow pokes, I will just flip them all and cut clones after they stretch. or maybe I will flip them and clone them after they start to stretch. I’m not looking to keep mothers and I’m not doing outdoor till mid June or 1 of July. That’s a long time to keep clones going that you wanna put outside. I will talk to @PreyBird1 About it. He’s done more cloning than anybody I’ve ever talked to That I know of. So when the time comes, I will have that conversation with him and figure out what I’m gonna do.

yep I went with 4" in my first tent that was 3x5 and wound up having to get the 6" fan, but that was way back when I was running the very first Ceramic Metal halide and a giant reflector hood with flow through venting lol. Man those were the days. My first grow light was an industrial metal halide 1000 watt, with the hood attached below the reflector giant heatsink above the reflector with the transformer and the capacitor inside with big fins all around. Like the ones you see in warehouses with 20+ foot ceilings.
