It’s a good one Jimmy!
I know how frustrating that can be…
Stay lit without power my brother.
Well that sucks. Hopefully they can slap another pole in and get it rigged up in a few hours
You mean I have to use directional signals, dimmer switches, brake lights AND drive??!
Sorry for your dilemma @happilyretired ,but some how ( after reading some of your posts), I believe it’s nothing you can’t handle lol.
You got that right coot!
@happilyretired will give them a couple hours, then he will just build his own power station.
Latest news…,
Took down a line of poles cross faze the transformers for the factory/grain silos down the street. Estimated 24 hours. go buy a generator real quick tonight… Naah I’ll just go buy one in the morning on my way back from picking up coffee…
Do you guys want to know the best part… i’m on a well no water
Good thing I got 70 gallons of or RO water and food grade containers on the side of the house. We be using good water to flush the toilet…
Haha, that’s kinda what I was thinking.
That is retired…
Lose power
Assess situation.
Give chance
Get coffee
Build power grid
Is that real hours or government hours? Could be 2 weeks, if the latter! Lol.
It’s a local municipality, they’re pretty good but these days they’re extra cautious with the safety procedures. Things take a little bit longer for electrical service to be repaired than it used to. The cowboy lineman are a thing of the past. Too many of them are dead.
Practicing what I preach.
!It’s as easy as that, as the plant grows just tie the top back to the stake. The plant will do everything else for you. North of the equator can you point your steak to the north I have also planted towards the east and had success. Sometimes north just doesn’t work for where you’re planting.
These pictures were taken on 4/16.
For f#$&k sakes, just reminded me my bare root strawberry plants need to get in the ground soon!
I’ll have a few staked like that again this season. Better idea of what im doing now should produce better results.
@bow4buck
don’t think there’s a better way to make a plant grow into a bush instead of a tree. Almost 0 stress. I think it is a awesome way to grow auto flowers. Photo plants I like to top. Over and over etc. You got a lot of land in a lot of privacy, if you were to use this style on a photo plant with a 8 foot stake. Or If you have something going, start a big clone of it, or plan to seed and get it out as early as you can. You will have a absolute giant.
Very nice. Ive seen similar in a tent but they used a chicken wire to anchor to the wall. But your is nice. And a great idea. I wash i could grow outside. Rules here outdoor only and 300’ from ant dwelling. That there gets me. My yard is 100’ neighbors within 30’ damn.
I don’t understand why people want to grow trees that are 14 foot tall. They are so hard to work on. Why not grow a Bush that is 10 foot long and 10 foot high. 4 foot on a ladder is a bunch.
That reminds me… I need to head over to Harbor Freight sometime today to pick some of those up.
Yeah I was looking at the package yesterday and you get 11 3 foot fiberglass rods. They are very flexible so the plant moves easy with the breeze yet they do a fairly good job of keeping it at a 45. I usually go a couple of degrees more because as The plant gets further out it does Bow the rod a little bit.
I snagged these pictures from a thread over on ILGM that I was following last summer.
Dude lives in Nepal and these are some land race strain that he grew after throwing the seeds in his back yard. It just grows wild there. I don’t think he even have a name for it (just weed).
I think I’d like to do that once. Just to do it. But that’s just too unmanageable. lol!
