I think the biggest issue has always been overcoming the stigma behind cannabis. There’s a reason public opinion has rapidly shifted – we’ve reached a critical tipping point where enough people have been exposed to it and recognize it’s not a big deal.

I think the rebranding of Marijuana (illegal term) vs Cannabis (botanical term) is playing a key part - its like having a 2003 cabernet sauvignon versus fermented grape juice with antifreeze.

The stigma is definitely gone here in Colorado. People will openly consume at parties just like a glass of wine, and nobody comments on it or thinks it is strange.
