Even better.
Yeah Mars Hydro seem like good led fixtures for the price thats a good price of ya mate brother. Is it the latest model?
Looking good, getting that light spread out.
I’m not too sure, to be honest i have dine minimal research with leds… they go for about $950 new zealand here so i figured i would get it based on that. Thanks for all the help tech you have been awesome.
Thats a deal in a half and if its farely new, they should of only lost about 6% efficency in them 301H samsung diodes over 3yrs. They last 100,000 hrs apparently.
Your a fountain on info man…
Not a problem matez we have the Internet and world at our fingwr tips.
What do you mean, close? 55 DLI at 12hrs? That’s a PPFD of 1274 µmol/s/m2, that’s a lot, more than enough for big buds mate!
Don’t stare blind at this tho, wattage is not the only important parameter, spectrum is too. LED in the early days used to lack but really stepped up the game. Reputable brands will have you covered, but cheap stuff will fail you here still. Buy lights that are “DLC qualified” is my advise.
The light distance and its power in the beam being 18iches is close to the plant being 5watt leds. Lost its efficiency.
He knows that am sure, hes making do with what hes got at the minute.
Idk what you’re saying man. However, a PPFD of 1274 at 18" is very good, and 18" is not that close at all…
It’s alright mate, I’m saying that because the readings are telling us that light’s outage is more than enough for good results, IF the light’s spectrum is alright too. So if you’re not happy with the results @bnb, it might be worth looking at the spectrum of that light.
I get ya MrMonkey420, am just saying 5wat leds at 18inches is close in my eyes but more than enough power just close. I’ve been Messing round with diodes and clusters and spectrums passed 3months.
I have a hard time believing that that chinese light puts out 1274 µmols tho. Can’t be.
Time will tell how long it can hold that power for. Am guessing them diodes start failing after a year.
