Join Juan from CannaCribs Consulting as he delves into the essential techniques for accurately measuring cannabis yield in commercial operations. In this tutorial, Juan explains the importance of moving beyond traditional metrics like grams per watt. He focuses on grams per square meter and grams per square meter per day to better assess productivity and efficiency. Learn how to calculate canopy area and correlate it with the total harvest weight and cycle duration to optimize your cultivation strategy. Juan also highlights the significance of considering quality alongside quantity, emphasizing potency, terpene profiles, and the visual appeal of the flower. This video is perfect for growers aiming to refine their operations to produce high-quality cannabis while maximizing yield. How hard can dividing the weight of the finished bud, by the number of plants, or by the wattage used or by any other metric to arrive at that. And even if you do go through all that math, you still only have xx bud.

Not saying there isn’t a necessity for it especially if you are competing with your competition and for price points, but at the end of the day that really can get totally cancelled out by medium versus stellar buds and the demand for it. So you have better numbers and product on the shelf no one wants.

I hear you @sssportsmfg , but just like any farmer, its a numbers game. The finished product has to be top shelf else it will sit on the shelf. But bottomline is that you have to work the numbers and get the best bang for your buck, which can be your final product, yield divided by plant numbers, but can also be worked out against gram per watt used etc.

We had issues while pig farming, if they pig sat in its pen for 3 days or more you would be making a huge loss with the price of pig food. It was run like an efficient train station, and pigs would be born, fed for a couple months and sold. There was the perfect sweet spot to, tender meat, weight, and age.

Its the sole reason I dont like commercial farming of anything, its just a numbers game, you may as well just sit and crunch numbers the whole day.
