I think it’s a waste of time and money. You might be able to start at an entry level position and learn from people that know the industry. You can also follow really good growers on Instagram that tell you how they grow. You can get really good information, but hands on is the best way to learn. That’s just my opinion.
Who do you follow on ig?
Some are backup accounts if their accounts get closed.

The only concern I have is it’s a new industry here and it’s going to take sometime to start up in my area. I want to move into the industry while I’m sitting at home do to shoulder surgery. Is there anybody on here that you know of that I can talk to more in depth ( or can you answer some questions I have)??
I am slym3r. When i typed it in here, it just made slym3r bold. So i had to screenshot the actual address. Lol
this is my ig handle.
I applied for a license in CA. It has been 18 months since we applied and we should be open in 2 months. It’s a long process, so you have time. What’s your questions? If you lookup Athena AG and download their manual it has a lot of good information. There’s different ways to grow. Some growers are hydro, semi hydro (coco), and soil (I don’t know many growers who do this anymore). I’m a coco grower. I’m not sure what position you want, but there are people that clone, tend to the nursery, grow, trim, and etc.
