any business that you start will begin with a plan. also it is a good idea to cultivate a relationship with a bank or investor of your choosing unless you already are set with cash. i would suggest you get a job in a grow shop if you have experience it counts.

A business plan without a doubt. You need to have a rough idea your about your mission, cashflow, projections and marketing/customer service. Do you have a potential location?

Yes I do currently if maybe I can go into business with someone who is already doing it I can almost gaurantee taking over a huge market.

Hello. I preface my thoughts with, I am an elder. I have enjoyed the great times and have survived the not so good times. The business plan thought is a beginning. Before you begin to consider a business plan, here are two trick questions. Why do you want to open a nutrient store/grow shop? Google nutrient stores/grow shops. Once you do the research and have an estimate of how many nutrient stores/grow shops are established online, what will make your business stand out from the established businesses already online? Second trick question. Do you know yourself well enough to be determined to be a success at your business venture, no matter what it takes? If you can honestly answer these two questions. Cheers!

that is probably the best answer you could have given this person. “no matter what” will mean different things to different people. reality is a real bite in the butt when you start a business.

Very good questions @superpower21 . A business idea always seems awesome during the thinking stages, but practically and going forward do you really have the passion to deal with it on a day-to-day basis.
