I’m still learning it. I’m a dwc guy myself! Gonna only run probably 12 buckets, the rest coco. Until I can show my partner how I do the dwc, he wants me to use coco or soil. Soil for outside. Definitely hit me up if you come down! We can talk, might have something we can trade, who knows. Good luck, and thank you!

UPDATE!! Bug problem is under CONTROL! First of all, thanks for everyones input. You all rock, and im really following your threads, this forum is the best out there! I know now, that i had every type of mite, including RUSSET, aphids, root aphids… all wreaking havock on my plants, which stemmed from plants my partner bought from a “friend”. Ive never seen such sick plants, or soo many bugs… I was ready to throw in the towel, and I just started! That bad. Here they are now. ! Ill get more pictures up here in a few days. I was so busy fighting bugs, pictures were on the back burner. Anyways, my partner wanted to use sulfur first, (but i kept the small plants separate) so we used it in the hudson sprayer, next day we had good results, I used a product recommendedto me by a commercial grower in Colorado, called BUDAPEST, and you use it with PHLOURISH, which thry carry and suggest using it in combination with the budapest. 2 days later the plants looked better, but thr ones i used the Budapest and lourish on looked not only like the bugs were gone, but had new branching, the new growth was thick, healthy… (at the time I didnt realize i had a root aphid infestation) the sulfur plants looked better, less bugs, but without the extra new growth I wasnt expecting or even looking for. On the 3rd day I hit my plants the same, and the rest got another sulfur treatment. After the 2nd spray, i didnt see any bugs at all on my younger plants. The other plants still had a few. Thats when my partner chose to use neem, and i stuck to budapest. This is now several weeks later, mites are mostly gone on the sulfur and neem plants. My smaller plants didnt have anything. A few days ago I was working with the plants, and lo and behold… root aphids!!! Another kick in the ass. So i went plant to plant, and they all had them, my plants, I looked, unpotted, and found a couple on all 20 of my plants, the others had them bad. I found out, that since i was drenching the plants with budapest, it also obviously went in the soil and killed what were in mine. I called organnabis, the company that makes the budapest and pHlourish, told them about the root aphids, and then treated my soil, I am keeping an eye on them, but just observing them, you can tell the difference. For the cost, and quality of product, i definitelyrecommend giving organnabis a shot. Its WAY better priced than my trusty “smite” and not only killed the bugs, but gave me healthy new growth and better looking plants. I found out they have a few new products coming out. I will definitelybe trying them out. Its a real compitition when it comes to growing, whether in the closet, or commercially, you want to have THE BEST. When its your living, more so. Thanks again to everyone that reached out! I’ll post more pictures next week, the difference is definitely visible. Here are some pictures of what i had… and a few afterwards that looked alot better and healthier.
The pictured plants sure look a lot better than what you started with!
If it’s any consolation to you, just whipped some of the most pernicious cannabis pests there are!!!
Thank you! Wait until I get better pictures, those were after 1 treatment with that Budapest and pHlourish. After the second time, better, now they look great. What pests did you have to deal with? Hopefully you got those little bastards!
As soon as my clones have good roots, im going to my buckets, but just 8 or 10 to start. My partner still has an old mindset about it. The living soil is on my list as well, just cant accomplish shit with every bug possible all eating the plants! Send me a message if you do go to Oklahoma. Id like to meet up for sure!
Bt , diatomaceous earth and a couple others I keep as a trade secret to remove the pm and mites. Keep these in your oklahoma arsenal.
Ive got DE, food grade. I am using it mixed in my soil and as a top dress, always have. Also add h2o2 yo my water, maybe not every time, but close. I definitely will bro!
You can feed it to pups as a dewormer too
Deworming pups will give you some great fishin bait also!!!
What?!?!?! Gross lololol
Sorry everyone…sometimes my wise ass overcomes my discretion…my bad…back to the corner!
Buddapest and pHlourish - the perfect 1-2 punch. Easy to use, very effective, and easy on the budget!
Yeah, this worked better than the smite, trifecta and others that will work, but they just don’t produce the new growth, and turn around as quickly as your product does. Glad I was able to find you!
Okay I said I would post new pictures, they are now growing so big, so fast, I’m going to have to super crop most, and top the others or else the plants are going to overgrow the greenhouse.
Mmmm, hey buddy got a bite.
LOL, “sharing is caring!”
I’ve used spinosal soap for other plants with no ill effects.
It’s an alternative insecticide that will break down with UV.
All I did was rinse the entire plant, and washed all the soil media off, too.
Sprayed and soaked for an hour, then rinsed with DI water (0-6 TDS (Zero Water brand 40 cup filter)).
On another plant, same process and left the soap on.
Another plant, I soaked a paper towel and wiped the leaves like dusting with pledge and didn’t rinse.
So far so good.
Try it on one section.
I’m not so sure your drooping momma plant isn’t more from lack of water than mites. That’s a lot of plant for that sized bag. Especially outside in the sun.
Marty
Marty, you’re right about the bag size there and I zoomed in on some of the leaves and it almost looked like leafhoppers to me…too big to be mites IMHO
Hello - any new updates? I’m looking for someone that can use my product from start to finish (including your garden, shrubs, vegetables, …) and document the results. Please email me at Matt@organnabis.us
I have something that will knock the mites out - I’ll send it to you for free in exchange for some b4/after pics - email me at Matt@organnabis.us for more info.
