Not sure if he partnered with dragon fire genetics…I’ll ask him. His name is Wes from Shoreline Genetics in Colorado formerly Texas.
Thank you Sir.
The fan was not working when I checked in the plants. , it was on a breaker power strip and plugged into gfci. When set up this room I changed plugs out from standard to gfci , I have a house built in the fifties and the electrical panel and wiring was updated from 60 amp to 100 amp. , I also ran a dedicated breaker and outlet to my room for my lights. My wife is paranoid about those kind of things because we have dogs and kids . So I went through and made it right. I know there are alot of new growers with the laws changing and I just wanted to put an example out and stress how important it is to check equipment regularly
Excellent choices and your wife was not wrong to worry. Good job my friend. We must all be safe out there legal or not…if there is a fire due to grow in the house do you not think there will be a problem with insurance…I do
Good looking out!
No I was thinking of Shoreline genetics in Michigan. I might not even have the name of the company right. I know that there is a company in Michigan that partnered with DFG. DFG is about to fold up. Guy that started it is going to law school.

Yep that sure could have been a fire. I have a controller that I run all my other stuff off of, I have had it for probably 20 years. It has not only GFCI outlets but it also has a probe that is temp dependent, if the temp goes over 90 in the tent it shuts everything off. It does all the stuff, multiple on off for things such as drip irrigation on off cycles, light cycles etc. Has two independently controlled outlets one that you can use for all the things that come on off with the light, and one that will do the irrigation etc. separately from the normal on off of the lights.

I have gfci outlets. I had to change them out for safety reasons and to ease the wife . I also run power strips with breakers rated for the same amperage as the circuit. What is this controller you speak of my friend ? I have an inkbird dual outlet controller for humidity and temp that will cycle fans or humidifiers with customizable settings and alarm. But nothing that elaborate yet .
No, definitely not Shoreline Genetics then…he is not from Michigan. He is from Texas, but now in Colorado.
I’ve really found stuff that I really loved from him (Shoreline) and I will keep at it until I do not…I don’t like a lot of this stuff out there right now. It doesn’t really get you high and if it does, it is fleeting. A lot of the fruity stuff, I am not interested and comprises whole plants on my hash pile!
I really like TonyGreensTorturedBeans…I have grown Tony’s stuff for 7 years straight…just saw something from Shoreline I liked and an email later…I’m still growing his stuff now. Nice guy, easy to deal with. Tony is the same…nice guy, easy to deal with, always has blow out sales …packed vials too.
I’m like you, I am pretty much fed up with all this run of the mill genetics out there now. My feeling is that they just can’t leave well enough alone, there seems to be a drive to come up with yet another cross, good or bad, they just seem to want to create yet another name with another promise.
I have said it many times and will say it again, I haven’t smoked anything in the last 20 years that even comes close to some of the stuff I used to get back in the 60’s and 70’s. The real landrace stuff, all the old names, that would really bake you. I do believe the trend is now back to finding and cultivating the old original lines. That is why I am looking at more small breeders, and leaving the big seed houses to their marketing.
Because of work, I had to stop both growing and smoking for many many years, so I didn’t keep any of the old asskick genetics that I used to have. I miss the old stuff.

Closest thing I’ve had to some old school effects nowadays was some orange critical kush. It Reminded me of the first couple times I ever smoked. Was a couple years ago when I had some that was good. You could stumble a horse with that smoke. Felt in the face , behind the eyes and all over , found myself staring off into space , not wanting to do much of anything except melt into a chair .
Howdy Butch, I grow marijuana too. Welcome to GN, enjoying your posts. I grow marijuana to.
