I represent BioSafe Systems in the Pacific Northwest and in Western Canada. I have the opportunity to work with many growers across the northwest. It’s been a tremendous learning experience and a great adventure. I’m a Horticulturist by trade, I went to school at Michigan State University and studied Floriculture. I ended up in Washington state about 15 years ago… I’ve spent 10 years in greenhouse / nursery production and joined BioSafe Systems in 2013.
I’ve enjoyed learning Cannabis production and getting to know the industry, it’s given me a new perspective on agriculture. I’m looking forward to working with this group in the future.
I live in Olympia Washington with my fellow plant-nerd husband and our two dogs. When I’m not working I’m an avid gardener (of course!), an outdoor enthusiast, and a dedicated yogini.
I started growing back in 1975. Eventually I took a break around 1996 and got into the IT field as a Network Administrator with a large accounting firm, then as Dir of IT for a large winery in Oregon. My wife also worked in the IT field for many years. We started our Medical production several years ago, then bought a farm, got our OR Recreational Producer license, quit our IT jobs and now we grow cannabis full time.
Our focus is on small boutique style production, with major emphasis on pesticide free organic processes, and creating unique strains not readily found elsewhere. The administrative overhead is substantial here in Oregon, but we truly love what we do!
I am happy to be a part of the growers network! I hope everyone is having as much fun as we are.

I’m an attorney in Northern California with a criminal defense / cannabis advice practice. I have been an opponent of prohibition policies for four decades, and truly appreciate the potential for legalization to reduce the black market to a manageable size through political action.

I am Jacob Mirman, MD, Medical Director of Life Medical. https://www.lifemedical.us/ We are a primary care integrative medical clinic. One of the local cannabis producer/ dispensary company contacted us a year ago. Apparently, it was impossible for patients to find a medical doctor willing to certify them for medical cannabis. I thought it didn’t make sense, so I said, OK, we’ll do it. So we have been certifying anywhere from 1 to 8 people a day. We are seeing more follow-ups now. I have never seen any single drug to do so much good for patients as cannabis, and with such great side effect profile! Practically no side effects. People are getting of their pain killers, antidepressants, tranquilizers, anti-seizure drugs, etc. This is fun!
