Hey guys this is my first ever autoflower grow and my leaves are pointing straight up not sure if it’s light stress or not.
My setup is
20"x15"x48" closet
Mars hydro ts1000 set at 28" away and 35% turned up
2 gal fabric pot
Coco perlite mix
Seedling is lemon haze from msnl and is 9 days old
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Drop your light down
When the leaves are pointed up they are reaching for the light, or just happy as a duck in a pond, it looks good right now, doesn’t show any stretch. Good color. I’d leave everything just like it is.
Yep, 28" away is a bit too far. Sweet spot seems to be 12-18". that’ll depend on strain and light intensity. Watch that height throughout the cycle, because the plant will attempt to reach upward as much as possible. At maybe 2-3 weeks I’d add a fan in there so strengthen the base. She’ll put a little bit more energy in widening the stem than continuing to reach upward
Awesome thanks for the reply. I did come home to some stretching seedling fell over. I propped up back up covered the weak part of stem with more coco and lowered the light to 18" to start.
Hi @slickvic02 , like the way you are watering, from the outside in, helping the seedlings roots stretch and look for water. Nice growing, she is looking good.
