Believe this or not but there’s 30’ tall huge hemp plants here in the fall. I had a machete one yr and some no way cutting them down with out a chain saw. Picked over 100 pounds of that I’ll never forget that

That is exactly what it was Blue… we found out later that those farms were the #1 producer of hemp for rope in WW2.

Yep, my house is 150 yrs old and had paneling I ripped out stamped hemp on the back. If you watch some youtubes there’s cars and houses made out of hemp. Kinda cool

I had two brothers from my hometown and they were friends of mine from my hometown in SW MO, that had a ConAgra franchise. They raised Turkeys, 50,000 at a time. (think butterball) Needless to say they had mountains of Turkey shit and sawdust that the took out of the barns with a front loader. One year they buried a watering hose up the side of one of those mountains of rotted composted shit and sawdust and you know what they planted lol. They were absolute TREES. However they got caught, fortunate for them they didn’t find the buried hose and they of course claimed they didn’t know they were up there so they got off. The bottoms of the stalks were in the neighborhood of 8 inched in diameter. Long time ago don’'t remember for sure on the actual size but HUGE this was in the 70’s.

I haven’t done much research on it. My thoughts are that you’d possibly end up with a semi autoflowering strain (kind of like some of the Siberian landrace strains). I can’t see any benefit to semiautomatic. I guess there’s a possibility of getting a fast flowering photo, but I wouldn’t put money on it.
@treetrunks autos were made by breeding photos with ruderalis, which autoflowers. Most breeders seem to want the lowest percentage of ruderalis possible while still maintaining stable and consistent flowering timelines and durations. Partly because photos are larger and have higher canabinoid concentrations.

Garden Shop visit today just to see if there was anything to up my game.
Most of you know I have used Great Lakes water only Super Soil for three grows.
Well, I am going to try this soil out.
Anyone else have any stories/recommendations?
My thinking was if it is endorsed and has the High Times seal of approval; then this super soil has to produce Monster Buds.

I’m tuned in Jim…no help really. I have heard rumblings about staying away from living soils for weed.
But… that being said I used Natures Living Soil amendment and Happy Frog together on a first time outdoor grow last summer with huge success…just add water. I added some bloom boost at the end but that was it. Heres a shot if her. I’l cant find another’s right at the end but…the plant got huge.

Yeah I know. Just having some fun. I have had awesome results from the Great Lakes… I did mix some of the FF last grow because I ran out on a Sunday.
I was really shocked to see this new stuff in my Garden Shop.
Should have seen all the eyes on me as I carried it out with CANNABIS in full view.
