An interesting article. The cost of operations for a greenhouse is much lower than an indoor grow, because of the sun’s light. Will competition over prices drive growers to greenhouses?

Definitely. The energy drain of indoor legal cannabis could be terrible. In a world where it looks like we will be getting more pipelines and coal and environmental damage cannabis growers should try to not add to the burden. It’s pretty hard to replicate the light capacity of the sun!
We are already seeing in Canada the big players are buying up and building massive greenhouses, acres and acres of them as it is the lower cost of production method but with still superior quality. Businesses that succeed will be the ones with the lower costs of productions and higher margins.
