WEAR A DAMN MASK | JONATHAN FRANKS
Let’s Be Blunt with Montel
Jon Franks, Montel’s Senior Advisor and the President of LUCID STRATEGIES returns to Let’s be Blunt to discuss the increasingly crazy politicization of mask-wearing in this time of COVID-19. Across the country, as a result of increasing politicization of masks, good people have been misled about masks by false information like “masks cause hypoxia” (or CO2 poisoning). In this episode, Jon wears a 3m N-95 mask with no exhalation valve throughout the interview while monitoring his blood oxygen levels (O2 sat). Jon even wears 3 masks at once to demonstrate that wearing a mask does not reduce blood oxygen levels. Montel and Jon discuss the ways in which masks have become a partisan issue as well as the need for Americans to act like grownups and take steps like wearing a mask so that we can keep the economy open and kids can return to school.
