Let's try this growing thing! šŸ¤“

It was like that . No idea but I ain’t taking it down. LoL just went over it with cement board. I just discovered this friggin Go board @ Lowe’s like 1/3 the weight man. I’m gonna use it for my bathroom this summer. Slym… it’s my first pan ever bro. LoL never done one before. A plumber friend quoted me $3,500 to do the pan, I was to just do all the demo and tile work and then he f****** ghosted me. I originally charged dude 15k he pay for the materials. It went to 20 w my plumbing work. I’m water testing right now, worked out gr8 as I have a TV to go hang and then a shower head to change out today. I can’t leave a condo without getting 2 more jobs man. No one wants to deal with parking downtown but if you get in with the right ppl, workers, maintenance, tip front desk I’m treated like a tenant man. I brought a front desk girl a rose for her birthday last week, got it at 7-Eleven for $2. LoL I’m telling you it works to be corny.

It wasn’t all that bad to build out BUT the floor is post tension cable so I couldn’t chip * really* shhhh I took down about 2 inches. LoL but I’m a week behind schedule because the plumber said he’d be there Tuesday and then Friday last week. Screwed me . I know he didn’t want to deal with it cuz I didn’t pull a permit. The only thing changing was the drain by 4 inches. Whatever!! I’m doing it all in subway tile, I started that while I was waiting for him. But I’ll do it again, not that hard at all.

How’s life without rice burners treating you Prey… I know I feel bad making a once a year presence but I’ve just been swamped. Still no excuse not to find time to grow. Its getting kind of itchy - I tried month back or so but killed em all. LoL
What do you think, another 10k miles or so? LoL

They sure are pretty!!!

I’m sure you have some kind of project going on. Hey don’t you have a bad ass Tacoma TRD Pro or some TRD edition? I got to get a work truck and everyone says tacomas are it.

I did one similar to this. My house had a wood floor. I built it out of wood, set the drain up a little bit and had an old boy that did nothing but custom shower pans. He did it with tarpaper and tar. I think that’s mostly lost trade anymore. He rolled up with a tar kettle behind his truck had it done in a couple hours. then I floated it all and then tiled over that. I hired some guys to do the tile, they said they need to go get some sand and we’re gone for four hours and expected me to pay them. They got the sand five minutes from the house. Needless to say, I got very proficient at tile. :+1:t3:

Appreciate the looking out but my wife be BS if a care package came I think… LoL if she doesn’t know its ok but I couldn’t explain QP appearing out of no wheres. But ya it’s been a little hectic - I honestly thought I was going to just take small jobs hanging TVs fixing blinds putting up artwork that kinda crap. don’t get me wrong I still do a lot of little shit but I sneak it in between these big jobs. I’m painting a condo on Jupiter Island like 1 mile from Tigers place. Seems Ike so many of my clients are big ass contractors. This guy named Anderson owns Andercorp out of Gulfport MS. They build casinos and hospitals and he said it cost him 12k to fly a crew down and put them up for 2 or 3 days to paint the place so why not have me do it for half that. I’m luckily in tight with like 3 realtors, that’s the ticket man. Just dumb luck is all. I had no idea every client they sell a place to wants it fixed up or atleast painted. Dumb friggin luck is all… just fell into my lap. LoL

Yes i have a crazy over powered tacoma! Like 460hp supercharged…de-governed and it will go 142mph. It would go faster but only if the transmission gear ratios were higher. At 4:88 and 37" tires on a 9" lift i can only squeak out 142.3mph as of last test run. I do have some long tube headers and an aluminum crossflow radiator to install next. But were gonna pushing close to 500hp and that 3.4l v6 will not handle that kind of power without forged internals. Mines an offroad rig for overlanding not really racing. I crashed a 2004 tacoma that i used to autocross and thats how i crashed it. I put it over a wall at 120mph on the last lap! I was low on fuel and i usually dont race below an 1/8th of a tank…But i was sure i could do it. Well the rear tires broke loose at 120 on the last turn and i could not get it back it was swinging to fast to the right and i tried to save it but there wasnt much room and clipped the wall and the kicked me up in the air and boom thats all i remember.

Here’s my money pit. 17k for the truck and 50k in mods and neccessaries! You know the accessories you need. And farkles! The fun stuff that Functions and sparkles! Heres my wrecked tacoma.

My current project is this little mazda3s i scored for 5k and it has 59k miles on it. I just lowered 3" on coil overs. Added cross drilled and slotted rotors front and next generation carbon fiber pads… serviced all the fluids. Added 8" wide 18" racing revolution wheels. Riding on some cooper zeons rs3-g1’s in size 21545r18. Now this little car tears up the corners! Rear brakes and rotors are on the way here tomorrow. Gonna put on a borla exhaust and enonen stereo system and a cold air intake. And ill drive it with a for sale sign on it and see if i can get 11k for the car or ill just drive it. I have 5 cars and 3 are for sale now. Im looking for a corolla gr or a 2012 mazda speed3 turbo.

I took it to work to mount the wheels.

I put Borla cat back on mine when I first got it. I put the K&N intake in first then played with a chip for a bit too. LoL Then I came back to reality, quit being stupid with a V6 ya know. Well it’s nice to see you so grounded & slowing down since your bike days . LoL
I didn’t know you had that much fun with the Tacoma, supercharger for real! I can envision you rock crawling for some reason.
That’s my weekly check in for today. Be good, keep it green all!

I paid $100 for this pos, what did he pay into it u ask. U’r funny for asking! . He says he’s going to put a predator motor in it. What say you ??? Over and under is 1 year.

HaPPYyyyyeee!!! Ya man he is… now he’s got the Infiniti I35 and the bike the spoiled shit. According to my math he should get interested in one of them… statistically Speaking right? LoL the bike is actually on me - I told him if he got my lawn mower running I’d get him the bike. He ordered a carburetor on my Amazon account unbeknownst to me and changed it. Ofcourse he didn’t pay attention to the linkage and it ran full throttle until he came to me and confessed. LoL being a man of my word (gulp) … Plus I made him drive most of the way to pick it up so there’s that being a 90 minute drive and all.
He does have to hold a pt job and pay his part of the car insurance though. I am serious about that part I will not cave on that promise. He gets his official license in September… That’s 6 months after his b-day. That’s how they do it down here, permit for 1 year then licensed. I’m getting old Hap! Not like you but closing in… ha ha

You’re the best kid. Your sense of humor brings light into the room. No matter how dark it gets.
Give me a shout next week when you have a couple of free minutes. We need to do a quick catch up. :v:t3::face_in_clouds:

Hey i learned to drive a stick shift in the snow when i was 12. I got pulled over for the first-time when i was 14yr riding a 1981 suzuki gs450l model. It cost me $425 in 1983 i was only 14 and was sluffing school and walked by that bike and itnwas for sale. Some guy bought it for his son and his son didnt want it? I saved up all my newspaper route money and bought that black beauty. I only weighed 68lbs when i was 14. Best memories ever. My dad let me have it and those were good old memories of dad. Hell he got us a mini bike from the salvation army for $20 and we just adjusted the carb and brakes and it ran great.
