Maine is debating different models for cultivation licensing. A hybrid model has been proposed which will incorporate canopy size, square footage, plant count and yield. Some are insistent on RFID tracking of each plant, others feel that is becoming outdated and yield should be the variable. A number of different tiers will be available for cultivators to choose from. The SICPA model is what is being looked at I believe.
