Light cycle

Hi just a question. What would happen if I ran my lights for a 12 1/2 hour schedule. I have limited time after work to work on my girls and that would give me an extra 1/2 hour to work on them. Any thoughts?

Are you growing autos or photo?

Whats your light vs work schedule? What time are lights on and off and what time do you work?

I am a contractor during the day. So I have mine on from 7-7 on at night. This allows me to check on them in the morn (just a peek) and work on them after work.

and your electric bill is far cheaper at night. Day rates are crazy.

Thanks for your reply. I’m going to switch tomorrow and I have to be up at 6 to go to work. But would like to run the lights till 6:30. Do you think the extra 1/2 hour would screw things up? It would give me more time with them when I get home.

I wouldn’t think so. When the seasons change so do the light times. That is the trigger for the plants to do what the need to do during those times. Just keep an eye on them.

@wizard122 your plants don’t revolve around you… you revolve around them… make time bro… set the alarm an hour before if need be or bust your ass at work to get home… that’s what I do

Edit 12/12 is a flowering light schedule

I’m a contractor as well @cjones… 6am lights on up at 6am to make sure everything is ok before… sometimes my wife takes care if need be… on at 6 off at 5 now… when on 18 6 its a bit easier to keep an eye on
