So I got seedlings on one side of my tent and a plant at the end of veg on the other side. should I lower the light for the seedlings and if so how close to the seedlings should I be???!

Well first off if you have a seedling in the same tent you flip one plant to flower, that seedling will go into flower stage. So first off you need to get a new area for that seedling before you flip the other one to flower. Then just leave the light above the seedling in the new space for it, approximately 24 inches should be good depending on your equipment.
It all depends on the light you are using, with a T5 I keep the seedlings close…like 3" but you cannot do that with all lights. Try raising them somehow and see if they like being closer to the light, unless the larger plant is going into a new tent or room to flower. Then just move the larger plant and lower the light to see if they like it better
