I think still way to young, but looking promising.

Unfortunately those are way to young to show. Typically they dont show until 3rd or 4th set of nodes are growing. And the ore flowers dont come out on the same angle as the leaves. Meaning: do you see the shoot buds at the armpit of the leaf. Thats another shoot growth starting Typically the pre-flower comes out at the side of the stem below the shoot at the armpit. And between the two hirn looking spikes.

i like your watering tubes idea 
keeps the surface dry and gnats away. When you transplant and go bigger do you water in the same fasion? I laways liked to water only the edges of the pots to make my roots find the water.
