Hello everyone!
So I am a bit confused and have a question. Background first.
I am growing 3 ladies in hydro and am trying manifolding/mainlining for the first time. I pretty much understood how it worked up until I flipped the switch two weeks ago.
So, here it is. Do i continue to remove some of the lower growth on each main cola or do should I be letting them now begin to make side branches and such.
In these past two weeks i have been doing a bit of light defoliation since they bushed out quite alot.
I had a pretty good handle on it up until now hahaha.
The pictures included were just before I made the switch.
Thanks in advance all!
@Tygrow78 This is my next try. The one you helped with is done and did ok but the early burn i put on her really was detrimental to the end result! 73 (2)|690x335
Your plants look great @hntrml! As for removing your lower growth, it’s really up to you and your comfort level. If no light is getting to that growth, I’d remove it so your plants can focus all their energy on your main flower sites. If they might branch out further then you might want to leave them. There really is no wrong way to grow. Just a thousand different ways…
Once our plants start stretching in flower, it can be a little hard to control the growth pattern.
Calling in some additional help for ya… @Hydro
Oh look hydro.
I dont mainline but I defoilate and prune .
Defoilate for light exposure and prune if I think the branch wont make a good bud.
@Tygrow78 is right. 1000 ways to grow.
They are tough plants.
Your plants look good
@Arrow can help to.
Hes good at that
Awesome work right there
Thanks brother…
Boy you’re not kidding…precision growing. Very nice!!
I’m trying dude …my first shot at it… @Arrow …
my stretch is always to long and my branches usually end up pointing at the ground lol…
You’re being humble…I have a feeling you can do this kinda stuff with your eyes closed…ha, ha, ha
@hntrml I would just take your time and keep going as you are, defoliate as part of your weekly maintenance. Remove all sucker branches (that wont end up being big enough to.hold colas) and giant fan leaves preventing light. However it’s your call, you can not cut them back, top and keep going. If it’s a photo it’s your call.
Ain’t nothing wrong with that…and solid on the advice…
Thanks brother …learned it all from dudes like you right here.
@Arrow Now that just looks way to cool!
@oltimegrower am hoping to even look anything near that lol!
