Some good news on the political front. Hopefully Jim O’Neill will get the gig and we’ll make some real progress on the federal level during this administration.

The question is how much progress – the FDA will largely be unable to move Congress to reschedule marijuana, even if they came out with glowing praise. Right now we need agencies concerned with criminality and legality to weigh in.
True, although the FDA coming out and saying there are official medical uses for cannabis opens the door for the DEA to reclassify. Still early days though.
