Medical Cannabis?

Just started some growing to try and save some coin from the medical. It has been great for getting through. But want to try it myself now.

I’ve mixed strains a lot to dial in different effects for pain and tension, and adding small amounts of cbdv isolate into my evening flower has been surprisingly smoothing without knocking me out. It keeps the body relief without the heavy fog, so it might slot in nicely between your indica needs and your wife’s lighter sativa vibe. It blends easily into tinctures or oils you’re already making.

I’ve been mixing my hash after freeze drying based on what the expected effect would be. Then, after decarboxylating for use in cartridges, I’ve been adding individual terpenes to try to elicit a specific response.

New book being released next week. The author is mentioned in a previous post of mine, Dr. Peter Grinspoon.

I am anxiously awaiting a delivery in both Kindle and printed form

Dead thread from 2023, but leaving this for searchers. Lemonos is a sativa-dominant hybrid, terrible choice for PTSD and hypervigilance. You need heavy indicas. The UK medical market shifted completely since then. Guessing strains on forums is an outdated approach. Clinics prescribe specific terpene profiles for trauma directly now. Releaf’s current onboarding process bypasses the trial and error phase entirely: https://releaf.co.uk/how-it-works

The book is out and I have read it. There’s a lot of good information in here and like the others, he cites all of his studies. I’m really glad I have it in both formats.

Hello

I need a true up lifting strain. It seems as most just knock me out.

Hi @1robin , there are a couple ways of looking at your couch lock weed you seem to be growing, smoking! Firstly look at the variety, you want a sativa dominant strain, e.g durban poison or skunk hybrid strains. Also if you are curing/drying them to long, THC will convert to CBN which makes you sleepy. Hope that helps.
