I’m a beginner in grow field.

I have feminized seeds. Trying to see what is the best set up and operation to run.
growing inside I would guess
soil/soil-less is about the most forgiving
you got lights? how big of a space you thinking about doing?
etc. etc and I am sure we here can help

Considering the time of year and being in the Midwest he will have to grow indoors for at least another 5-5.5 months lol. We got some doozy weather here right before Christmas…-6 degrees. Colder than a witches titty in a snowstorm.

@sssportsmfg being I lived in Gary for awhile and worked at US Steel and Inland Steel
I have to say if is cold on the lake
I was down in 'Nap for a bit also, it does get cold in the Mid West for sure
grow well and be safe

I did work for the the Department of Correction in Indiana for couple of years
( pumping iron )
I have nothing going. Also need all the equipment, i have seeds already
@007geek are able to grow in a room? or do you need a tent?
tents go from way cheap to big dollars
I bought a Hydro Crunch 4 foot by 8 foot 70 inches tall tent for 149 to the door
to keep vegging some plants for outside because some how I ran out of room
for the money is a great tent for what I did
lights again the same cost can be all over
HID lights in HPS/MH are cheap and somewhat a thing of the past
but I have grow tons of weed with 400 watt highbay lights over the years
with LEDs ask questions, shop and look at grows of people using the ones
you are thinking of getting
you can build LEDs I just did at buck a watt it worked for me as I wanted to hang
1900 watts of LEDs to do away with 5200 watts of HIDs
still dialing them in
a bit of a learning curve for and old dog
ask question folks here are very helpful

I really want to grow outdoors when the season come. When is the best time to grow outdoors in Midwest?
In Missouri, I wouldn’t put plants outside until after the 15th of May, even though I’ve seen snow fall on the 22nd of May.
I am in upstate New York and it gets cold here the last two years
I have put plants in the ground May First
I put out plants that are six months old
I am doing six plants to be right with the state
I also am putting out 30 of these
Mephisto’s Wedding x Forum Stomper
I will start them under lights in April so they can go out around the first part of May
I will have them well rooted in 16 oz drink cups or maybe 1 gallon pots
chop them by July
are you in a legal state? growing for your head? or visions of being a cash cropper?
outside in the ground is painless the plant does all the work and you
just need to not love them to death
be safe and stay free
Dequilo
Yes it’s legal in Missouri
Ain’t that the truth, if you go by the Farmers’ almanac last frost is April the 15th. But don’t believe that for a second, lost three sets of Tomatoes in 22 due to getting froze out, all after the 15th.

In Missouri, you can grow monsters even if you wait until the middle of May. I have put in plants in the middle of May that reached 25–30 feet by the end of Oct. This was in extreme southern Missouri, and planted in a 20’ tall pile of composted Turkey manure and rotten sawdust. Who says Turkey is only for Thanksgiving?
Marty
Thanks for the information.
What is the best items to use for the plant to be its best from taste, smell, look and etc?
