Monkey relocating -> 🇦🇺

Hi All!

Just wanted to share with yous that I’ll be moving from Belgium to Australia around May! :+1: The whole proces has been going on for a while and finally we can begin a new chapter! To the aussies around here: let us hear from ya, love to connect. I’ll be in Greater Sydney…

I’ve been at a low, both with growing and with my forum presence, for a whole while now. It’s been pretty hectic… Time for a change! Soon I’ll be settling down on the other side of the globe and there’ll be some time and space again to get things going. I’m hoping I can get a few grows up and running swiftly! I missed it so bad and am sooo excited for it, you have no idea!

That’s it for now. :v: :monkey:

Great choice to move to Australia but why Sydney? Everyone knows that Melbourne is where it’s at! lol

Haha nah yeah I like Melbourne for its culture but the weather is too cold & wet man, come on, I’m moving from Belgium… I’m not escaping this stuff just to end up in the cold for 6 months a year again

But the real reason is that I’m partnering up professionally with a friend who lives in Sydney… I’m not complaining though. Sydney has many magnificent beaches. The Blue Mountains in the West… There’s a bit of everything. And we’re situated on the Northern Beaches, which is a great spot imo. I lived there previously.
Anyway. It won’t be staying there forever either I reckon. I would move further North, close to the QLD border. Or maybe way up in Queensland. I don’t mind the tropical weather. I need warmth :stuck_out_tongue:

Awesome @MrMonkey420 , so many people heading south and although I have never been to Auz, it seems like a great place to live and lots to live for. A huge cannabis culture, especially up north near Darwin. Wishing you the best of success for your relocation and look forward to seeing you get on your feet quick.

PS dont fall for the Aussie accent, stay original. Cheers mate!

Cheers bud! @sdoyle

Haha, you got it right there. It’s been illegal my entire life in Belgium too and it hasn’t stopped me  Aussie seems a bit more dangerous though, but there’s a lot we can do to prevent getting caught. @sssportsmfg

Yes that’s right! And in the Northern Rivers region (the most northeasterly region of the state New South Wales) as well. I’m considering settling in that area in a few years. Call it “Australia’s Humboldt”

I’m afraid my English already has heaps of Aussie in it :grimacing: Have family there and lived there before. And a lot of mates down there too who I’m on the phone with all the time. If you sleep with the dog you get its flees. @chrisj

The beautiful Freshwater Beach near Manly, closest beach to where I previously lived. One of my favourite beaches in the area. @doug1

You are going to live in a spectacular part of NSW but I live at Phillip Island and have got you beat on beautiful beaches lol Let me know if you need any introductions when you get here, I’ve been working in the industry for 20 years and know pretty much everyone.
@sssportsmfg you have to go way north before you have to worry about crocs, we just have to keep an eye out for sharks down the East Coast.

Australia has the most deadly animals, even the cuddly kangeroos like boxing. I promise there is probably a great white in that that beautiful shot of the beach.

I’d say that the lions and hippos etc that you have over in South Africa may be a more dangerous than a few sharks and a kangaroo or two lol

Oh hell ya Chris, they got the most deadly snake, spider, and lord knows what else…giant croks, great whites on the reefs, blue octopus…and on and on and on. lol Would still love to move there. So much shit to see.

Yip, South Africa does have its fair share and probably a larger amount of killer animals. We have giant crocs here to, my first girlfriend in primary school was eaten by a croc later in her life.

Saw a school of about 100 dolphins yesterday while taking a hike along the coast of the wildside.
