Wow i love a few seeds. I got a few of my own now. hang on to them. I have found 1 obama seed lately. And another runtz seed. Fabulous job Sir! Man i gotta start learning Dwc. I got the set up…alas i have a serious cloning addiction apparently and its all i do. I want to go do it right now lol snip snip…no seriously i want to go do it again.
I hear you! It’s like having more tools to work with. It never hurts to add just one more… Haha.
I can’t wait to get my prescription renewed so I can add some more plants lol.
Girls are getting nicely adjusted to their home. Canopy is at 12" from the bulb. I’m trying out a new fertilizer and irrigation system, but I think things are looking pretty good considering I’ve taken 2 rounds of clones off of them in the last 2 weeks.
Very nice improvement. What is the date difference between the before and after foto’s?
Thanks! 3 days between the photos.
What did u switch to (nutes)?
Nice work tuning er up ya buddy:)
I’m still using Jack’s 5-12-26 and 15-0-0 with Epsom salt, but I’m using different ratios and adding monopotassium phosphate in the blend. I’ve adjusted my final NPK ratios to be closer to the Floraflex nutes.
I think the girls are enjoying their new feed.
Currently feeding them the following ratio. The reservoir is brought up to EC 0.2 using Cal/Nit before the rest of the nutes are added.
Jack’s Feed 5-12-25 @ 2 parts
Monopotassium phosphate 0-52-34 @ 0.5 parts
Epsom salt @ 1 part
Jack’s Boost 15-0-0 @ 2.5 parts
Humidity is dialed in at 62%. They’re getting EC 1.5 @ pH 5.5-5.8 fed to them three times a day in rockwool crutons in 1 gallon pots. Light is still about 12" from the canopy.
I’m running this tent on a recycling drip system. Everything that runs off the plants goes back into the reservoir. pH is adjusted daily. Reservoir is topped off every couple days with straight RO water.
I’m going to see how the temps hold in this 3x4 tent with the BIOS light. I might just send it and try flowering in this space while some new genetics are sprouting.
Looks like u found your sweet spot with the tweeks to ur feed;)
Kicking off flower today with their first 12 hour night.
640w of LED over a 3x4 area. Things are going to happen fast, haha.
These were planted directly into rockwool cubes that were soaked in pH 5.8 adjusted full strength veg nutes. Planted 1/4" deep and then used a bamboo skewer to bend the fibers over to cover the hole. Placed their tray onto a warming mat and pressed a second tray over top to give pressure, darkness and maintain high humidity. Next day they were placed into a dome on a warming mat with the vents closed. 250 PPFD, 18h/6h lighting.
Seeds planted Feb 2nd.
Hey @devjyarn, where did you get the genetics for your CBDurban Poison? I think this would b a great strain for me because of its higher levels of thcv and cbd. I’m looking at some strains from dinafem right now too.
I got the CBDurban Poison through True North Seed Bank.
Thank you so much @devjyarn! I’ve been doing a lot of research and this is the strain I’d really like to run next.
Girls are liking their environment so far. I’ve been watching closely and adjusting the amount of calcium they’re being fed through their transition, trying to stay ahead of any deficiencies while trying a new fertilizer mix.
In veg they were fed the ratios listed in my previous post with a final NPK ratio of 10-10-14.
Now they’re on a transition/stretch blend with NPK of 7-15-22 with a target EC of 2.0
I will be adjusting the ratios of calcium in the future to fine tune the mix.
MPK @ 0.5 parts
Jack’s 5-12-26 @ 2.5 parts
Jack’s 15-0-0 @ 0.75 parts
Epsom salt @ 1 part.
Did a heavy defoliation as part of the flip into flower.
I left the top 6-8 nodes on each branch and cleared off almost everything below that.
I did leave a few lower fan leaves as some “warning flags” to show me if I have a mobile nutrient deficiency. The old leaves will sacrifice themselves to keep the new growth healthy. If the lower leaves start showing deficiencies I have time to adjust my fertilizers to minimize the damage.
