My 2nd grow!

Do you guys think a 3x3 tent is big enough for 2 plants?

This is a 32" x 32" tent I usually veg my new clones in until I transplant into their final home. I ran out of space and put this white widow clone in it. Now I need more space to flower it! Lol!

Do you think 2 plants would be fine for the whole life cycle? 3x3 is like the max space I have to work with I like that it adds a extra 2 feet tall over my one now as well just trying to see if it’s worth it or not

My cousin does 2 plants in a 3 x 3 and he gets about an oz per plant for a yield. If you have height your yields would probably be better. His tent is only about 70 inches tall.

much better - consider a little defoliation ; get rid of them big fans - need to put some air thru your plants base

With the right training 2 plants make a great sog or scrog in a 3x3 tent.

What’s your drying process like when i see that it’s ready do I just cut it down cut the fan leaves off and hang it upside down in the dark? or do I leave it in the pot and just in the dark for a day then cut and hang? @kdawg @mouse935

Always 24 hrs of darkness before I take them down

Is 68 degrees and 50 humidity good for drying?

That will work fine. Keep circulating the air but not directly at the buds. Check on them daily.:+1:

I’d say that’s a lil dry. Try little lower temps and 58-62% humidity

I am doing the 24 hours of darkness but I was just wondering what does it actually do like what’s the purpose of doing it?

Signals end of life so the plant pushes out all it can. Some do that for 48 hours. Some split the stem. Some pack the topsoil in ice etc…

The way I understand it is too push as much chlorophyll and non tastys out of the buds. Also the extended dark makes the plant go into flight or fight mode for lack of better terms and boosts it’s resin response creating a more robust trich. Like I said this is how I understand it. Please anyone add to the discussion, elaborate or even correct me. I’m here to learn as much as any other noob and furthermore I honestly don’t even know if it works having never done a comparison. I have heard all the methods like @kdawg mentioned but have never seen any data to prove it. I don’t get the ice though and have my doubts about that one.

Also a newbie, but it causes sugars & starches to go to roots (in dark). Sugar and starches make for a bad burn!

LoL…olcoot … Damn that is a fun name! I get it, totally my style. Very cool, have you been growing a long time. I’m picturing a retired old vet in the garden w a toothpick maybe playing some steppenwolf.
