My First Online Grow Journal

Just one thing to keeps in mind. I live in a security complex with 40 units, space for a 160 people (4 per unit). My courtyard has walls around it, but you can still see into the yard, depending on where you are standing. I have been growing here with no problems or people stealing my shit. I really try and keep it on the downlow, so that I don’t get problems with my neighbour’s. So I can’t go out and build large (very visible), in your face structures. So I appreciate the input. It’s not always possible with all the variables that I have to take in consideration.

I totally get that one!!!.. We actually decorate with Xmas lights and decorations it keeps people’s eyes off the plants :wink: (but it’s going to serve as gas lamp lighting purpose for my plants) … We are making our patio 1 big garden with multiple plants so everything can just blend in

I have seen this site before. I build my hoop roof with 20mm electrical conduit pipes. I build my roof alone, plus measurements, netting and everything in 2 hours.
Netting has to be redone. Due to not being able to get netting before our national lockdown and my pay came in after the lockdown.

I have 1 cherry tomato plant in my garden. But it attracts to many bugs. The caterpillars I found on my ladies came from the tomato plant. And snails from the beans I have in the garden aswell. Everything started as a vegetables garden for the boys, but they have lost interest in vegetable growing. So my ladies took over the space. As soon as I can get a clear plastic covering over the plants and the right size netting, the faster I can complete my master plan for my grow area. And then the Growing will become interesting…

How height is allow for you to grow a tree in your garden, and how deep the roots could nearly extends and deploys under your garden’s media surface?

@Hemp_Nature
Are you talking about the banana tree in my courtyard or my cannabis trees ?
The only open space of soil in my courtyard is filled with the banana tree. Which I can’t remove, but I do trim the leafs, because it makes shade over my ladies. I’m only renting the flat. The rest of the yard is bricked out (paving bricks). I’m not worried about the banana roots lifting the bricks. My pot and plant are standing in wooden pallets. Its not going to make much difference.

This height from my pots to the highest point of my hoop roof is 113cm (64 inch).
But I can raise the roof too if I needed to. That’s one of the reasons I chose electrical conduit pipe.

I realize that, is not a good idea to grow a big tree over there in your growing space, because the shade.

You don’t need to stress my friend. I am using it to my advantage. My netting is fastened to a stump of the tree. It isn’t really in direct line of the sun over my garden, only when a leaf hangs over. And a knife cuts it off easy. Also it covers my garden from one side. So it’s part of my Camouflage and cover for my garden.
I’m just Growing with nature and adding my Special touch to make it work for me. Exciting things to come for my grow space. If I can just get everything together. Money and the Covid 19 virus is slowing things down for now.
