Considering that all of the Black Jamaicans are from Africa…I am wondering if the strain didn’t originate in Africa, get taken to Jamaica…then possibly back again or just started getting cultivated again in it’s original place of origin?

Good point Marty. Since cannabis arrived on the African continent exactly where Rastafari was born ( Around the 1930’s ) around the mid-12th century, you might have a very good point, and highly likely. Sorry
