If i was to guess it doesnt like the water situation. Looks like it wanted more food and got over watered a little during the process. Some of my strains can be hungry and if you havent grown them you might miss the timing of when it wanted more food. It happens and my last batch in the 4x4 tent i missed the matk by like 2 days. It caught me and then i tried to play catch up and made too hot a of a batch of nutrients and dumped it in the resivior full strength and forgot to dilute it! Yeah we all mess thing up here and there. Can you clone that plant and run it again! I try and run the same plant a couple time to see if i can get it to grow better each time. Because you never know whats going to happen. Im loving the auto pots for the consistency of the watering always being on point and filling a resivior is way better than hand watering.
I’m looking to get the auto pot.with some of my tax returns. Do you use straight coco or a mix. I’m going to wait on getting a cutting till I run it again. Wife ran through the last 2 grows, and I couldn’t get some back stock. The 3 in the 3x3 are about 3 weeks apart or so. I just started to grem 3 autos to fallow up.
The Autopot guy on YouTube uses straight coco for growing autos. I use the BAS 3.0 to go organic but I have to supplement before they are done the 3.9 gal is just not enough to make it through for the size I grow. I think his handle is Autopotomous if I remember right. Try the tube for his videos.
Marty
I have watched his videos on Utube
I use straight promix-hp. I leterally just transplanted 3 plants and put them into flower.
That big tote to the left of the picture is full of pro mix. I take a 4 foot plants and clean up the crappy leaves and sucker shoots and kinda lollypop it. Then put it in the 2.2g auto pot. The 3 gallon is just too big. You can grow a lot of weed in a small pot. Much smaller than you think.
The promix I saw on here somewhere when I 1st got on, but I know I’ll be changing it when I start the auto pot.
Also, I use 2 to 2.5 liters of water every 2 to 3 day’s depending on the needs of each plant.
PreyBird, this 1 is still not behaving, but I’ll try again when I run again. I’ve got to do a deep cleaning after I cut down the 2 in the 3x3. My small tent hat autos in it. 1, is
3 weeks in and 2 I just started to germinate. I will move them over after cleaning and start a run of yours. I plan on taking cuttings and grow 3 or 4.
Just cut yesterday.
Late to the party here but…. if used correctly you can get the results with coco coir or pro mix. The issue rises because people like to have 5000000 to make a “witches brew” of things. The main issue when doing that is its hard to pin point where exactly a nutrient issue may be. If you look at some of the biggest long time great results growers who use living soils they have spent years figuring out mix ratios of things. Most the people who come on the forum and have issues have deviated from SOP/feed guideline for any particular nutrient system, if you just follow the feed schedule and adjust incrementally according to plant response your grow should do well/great! Just my 5 cents.
Well i think your having a lock out issue. Are you watering from underneath? And thos cloth pots suck. I have like 100 of them in a box. There terrible thats why i wont ise them. They dont breath and trap nutrients inside. I only use grow bags now. Or auto poys.
The issue I had with auto pots years ago is the roots would always with out fail grow to big on some of the buckets and clog the feed lines and die….
Wow ive done 15 runs straight using then and never had an issue. I also dont do it the way they say to. I ise the root blocker squares. And just about 2” of soil ontop of those and thats it. Ive nere had roots go past the root square ever.
