I’d like one Nacho Bell grande and a Doritos locos taco to go plz. Oh … don’t forget the cinnamon twists. At least I wasn’t MIA… 20 days! I beat you suxka!
The NIWA CO2 sensors have arrived, now waiting for the upgraded app gets released on the Apple App store to begin using it.
Curious about this!
N8ce i was waiting to see how well it works.
Hi @nacho151
Glad you still running with the NIWA growhub. Have you managed to download the latest app?
I have it downloaded. I still need to plug both my sensors in. I plan to here in a few hours, right now I’m dealing with other issues.
Nice my friend. Im ready to start up a grow.
The New Niwa Sensor on the left, the old one on the right,
CO2 reading.
I’m really like the Niwa Grow Hub so far. Easy to setup and use, if the power goes out. it stays to the schedules in the uploaded recipe, WIFI gets disconnected, no problem, it keeps on working even if you can’t monitor it from the App.
Now I would like the Gen 2 version.
More than ready you can tell you’re missing it, I feel your pain brother. I’m also done with tents for the time being and damn I miss it too. Last weekend I was on a party and at some point I started thinking about my babies and from there on it was all I could think about. Wanted to go check on em. First thing I did when I got home
I’m raising 4 photos for outdoor and 2 more autos. But I can’t plant my photos anymore because I had very good news, I’ll be in Australia again before oktober most likely! So I’m going to hand em over to a mate, including your ALR Sad because she’s looking great. They all do. Ah well, still got the autos to play with… And very very excited that I can finally move on! Will defo do an ALR run in tents down under.
Edit*: October I’m mixing up Dutch & English sometimes.
NIWA has got you… Email em to sponsor you! Tell em about the forum!
Man im sooo jealous. I always wanted to fiddle with a little co2 system. Man i was just getting into the Rdwc system.
I use the regular size exhale bags for co2 since my 1st grow, I just didn’t know how much co2 they produce. This last grow I used the Mini Exhale Bag and was surprised how much co2 they produced. I plan on getting the Regular Size Exhale Bag’s again to see if they produce a higher level of co2 than the mini’s.
If you press the cloud, (circled in red) on the stats page, it will download and email the cvs file to the email registered to your app. The CVS File can be opened in a spreadsheet program for you to make charts for your own use or just see if you need to make changes in your growing practices.
Awesome so ur opinion on the exhale bags I would say is good then. I’ve been on ilgm forum and I swear most the guys there will tell u the exhale bags r a waste of time unless I r in a closed loop system. Now from my experience using them in the room vs not having them the last few grow is a huge difference in all .size shape appearance smell u name it. They may not do a whole lot like a closed loop system but in my eyes they work and do something for the plants. Can’t wait to see results when u drop some xlbags in there and throw up some umbers I can throw back at them and show it does do something whether a lot of a little it does work. They turn everyone off of them because they swear they don’t work so I’ve since stopped using them but have seemed to notice quite a difference in finish product
They work great for me! They probably won’t give you 1600 to 1800 ppm, however they will give the plant enough co2 to help! The trick with them is to keep them just above the canopy because the co2 is heavier than air, if they’re sitting on the floor of the tent they aren’t going to do much for the plant. The plant needs co2 for the leaves and oxygen for the roots. Everytime I go to the local garden shop they try to sell me a co2 generator, but the Exhale bags work good for me and the only maintenance is changing them out at the expiration date.
Something I have noticed about co2 levels since I plugged the new Niwa co2 sensor in and started monitoring co2 levels. When the co2 levels drop the humidity levels drop and co2 levels go up as humidity levels go up. I found this study a few minutes ago and found it interesting because it confirms what I’m seeing on the stats page of the Niwa App.
