Employment Law Update for New Jersey
As part of CEDR’s commitment to keeping our Cannabiz members in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, we are sharing some important news about law changes that may affect you as an employer:
New Jersey: New Jersey Family Leave is significantly expanding. If you have 30 or more employees, you will have to allow employees time off to care for family members.
All New Jersey CEDR Members with 30 or more employees will be receiving a handbook update from CEDR. If you’ve increased your number of offices or locations since signing up with CEDR, be sure to let us know so that you are included in any necessary updates. Keep in mind that keeping your businesses in separate LLC’s does not mean you can avoid complying with the law.
