New Lights, Setting up a small Hydroponic System for this next grow

Just decided to post how to setup the AC Infinity Controller 69 Pro Sunrise/Sunset transition setup to make it work if you’re interested and don’t have to figure it out.

  1. Set off to 0
  2. Set on to the level of intensity you want. Example 1 to 10.
  3. Go to schedule set on time and off time.
  4. Click on port to set time length of transition. Example 10 minutes to 6 hours.
  5. It should work as you want it to. Finished.

If I left out a step let me know. So far mine is working right after I found out I needed to set the cycle. I found out about the cycle setting when the light didn’t come on.
UPDATE The light didn’t come on again this morning. I opened a support ticket with AC Infinity about the problem and asked for step by step setup to make it work right as soon as they respond I update this post.
UPDATE I cleared the cycle times back to 0, set the schedule time to start the length of the sunrise cycle and it came on when I wanted it to.

Last update to this post unless AC Infinity tells me a better way to do the setup

AC Infinity Controller 69 Pro Sunrise/Sunset transition setup.

  1. Pick the intensity level you want and the transition time. Example: Intensity 3 and Transition time 1 hour. This will have the light step up at specific times, the transition time between intensity will be 20 minutes. To calculate transition time convert to minutes then divide by Intensity level. Example: 60 / 3= 20 minutes.
  2. Set off to 0
  3. Set on to the level of intensity you want. Example 1 to 10.
  4. Go to schedule set on time you want and add the 1st transition time and add to the start time and off time. Using the example, if you want the lights to turn on at 8 am set time on, in schedule to 7:40 am, the light will then come on at 8 am. The Light will step down and turn off at the off time.
  5. Click on port to set time length of transition. Example 10 minutes to 6 hours.
  6. It should work as you want it to. Finished.

Last note Vanessa from AC Infinity Customer Support just sent me an email saying that my last update was the correct way to setup the Sunrise/Sunset Transition.

I like that it tells you what kind of light you are running. Nice @nacho151

You can change how it’s labeled in settings.

You did it? I thought it new, oh well
Still a great controller once I figure out how to use it properly.
Did they get back to you on the sunrise, sunset transition settings yet?

Not yet, they might have to have the software people figure it out! Lol!

Getting ready to start this grow in a couple of days! Decided on growing a Blueberry plant. I soaked the seed for 24 hours and it’s been under a paper towel for 12 hours and it’s going in a Root Riot plug in a few minutes!

My Dakine 420 feed chart for my 3 gallon setup. I also plan on using 2 ml/gal of UC Root when changing reservoir and Atomic Root Powder 24 hours before reservoir change. I also might try Sticky Icky.

Made a light hanger for my UVB lights. They need to be 24 inches above the canopy when used during the last few weeks of flower.

The frame is squared up and tight.

UVB light installed and ready to be hung in the tent!

Roots are finally showing.

How long did they take to root?
Can’t be that long. And love the light setup.

I dropped the seed to soak 16 days ago and put the seed with the tap root in the plug 14 days ago. The light setup is hanging above the grow light and will only be used the last 3 weeks of flower for about 15 minutes per hour during the lights on cycle in addition to the grow light. This is the 1st time I tried the root riot plug but I’m working on getting a way to use the plugs in my Turbokloner so the roots grow faster.

Trying to make a grow journal to post on here. Hopefully by tomorrow I  to have it up.
The wife is taking our kids to the farm tomorrow so hopefully when they are out I’ll have time. @nacho151
Just curious have you seen @sssportsmfg on anymore? I started my grow with his soil recipe and wanted to thank him for the help. But I’ve not seen him on anymore. I hope he is okay.

Can you start feeding them nutrients this young?
Or how long do you wait ?

I’m not sure about @sssportsmfg, his last post was the 22 of February and the last time he logged on was around the 12 of March. As far as the plant at the seedling stage I just mist the plug with Clonex mist and distilled water, the 1st week In the hydro bucket I plan on using pH’ed distilled water with 20 ml of Clonex and 2 ml of UC Root per gallon, then start giving them nutrients in small incremental doses from there.

I wouldn’t be that patient. I would probably give them about 200 or 300 ppm of nutrients. :+1:t3::v:t3:

I was thinking about starting them 1/4 to 1/2 dose of nutrients if the roots get bigger or longer in the next couple of days. I’m not sure the root growth will handle them yet.
