Hey everyone,
I just came across this forum and everyone seems to be really helpful and knowledgeable. I just bought my first house and I always said I would start to grow when I did, so here I am.
I’m wondering where I get good quality seeds…? I can get seeds off some Reggie or mids locally (I’ve grown those before but just threw them in the yard and let them grow) but was hoping to do it the right way this time, indoors. Does anyone have experience buying quality, “top shelf” type seeds online and the safety? Or know of any other avenues to obtain them? Any insight would be great I would really appreciate the help! Feel free to direct message me.
Thanks everyone!
Congratulations on the house, and welcome to GN. When I started my indoor grows I made some bad purchases. You can ask 10 different growers here, and get 10 different answers. What you should start doing is planning what kind of grow you want, and how large. Figuring that part out might make it easier for you when you are ready to buy beans,.
You should message @automatik. He will answer some questions you might have. He is a mid region bean broker.
Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
Get Growing!
Hello and welcome @ethur24.
If you don’t want to full a room with weed to start, a grow tent may be what you’re looking for. A good way to wet your feet on indoor growing.
I’ve never had one but seen some awsome grows in them.
Thanks for all the feedback everyone! I was looking at the grow tents they sell on amazon that fully zip up, plus I have a whole room I don’t use if those aren’t very good.
At the moment finding quality beans is the goal so I’ll definitely give your source a DM. I appreciate the quick responses and I’ll be sure to keep everyone updated on the process!
Your absolutely right about wanting good seeds. When it comes to growing cannabis the most important thing is to start with quality genetics @ethur24. Why spend months of time and effort just to get some average bud. Spend the extra money and use a reliable seed bank is my humble opinion.
Ilgm has never let me down with their genetics and their fast.
My new go to seed bank is DC Seed Exchange. They have tons of breeders and all seeds come in the original breeders packs, which is the best way to get your genetics.
I also like to get genetics that advertise their breeding line and method. Humboldt Seed Company is leading the way these days along those lines.
