"NIWA" grow hub testing**

So far this Grow hub is really cool! I had a small issue! My dog got the manual!

And the traditional set up didnt work. So the 2ndary steps it connected just fine. I got a humidifier a fan and the lights ready for this tent. For some reason i have always had issues with this tent. I hope this solves it! I will have more info on Sunday when i have it set the way i like it. So far ive been playing with the recipes and browsed a few of the available recipes in the database. I really like being able to control all this from the phone app! To bad fan speed cant be adjusted when the fan has a manual speed control knob. I wonder if the fan i have works if i unpoug the manual knob. And just plug the fan into the niwa?

Lol, that is terrible though. Our dogs!!! You are able to download the manual and specsheets from their site or growershouse.com:

How things going with the grow hub, helping you out? The feature of controlling fan speed would be great, we having such a hot day here, temps have gone up by 8 degrees Celsius.

I had to reset some tents. But this Niwa so far is Golden man! Once you can take a plain old set up and make it work on your phone! Thats really really cool. I dont like its not waterproof or for outdoor use. Because i like to have the power at the top of the tent. Because most fans, humidifiers have short 6’ cords. So its trickier to rout power around. I want to use it in 2 tents now. But i have to clean one of them up.

Great to hear @PreyBird1 , as long as its helping you save time and automate processes in your grow. I am going to add all your " wishlist ", and send it on, but sure you will speak to the developer of the NIWA growhub himself in the future.

Glad this has been a success.

Yeah i like it a lot. Because having to buy all the stuff is already a decision. Then these new fans like infinity cloud that are automated is cool but then i have an app for this and an app for that. I got like 4 apps for shit and they cant work together. Nice to be able to centralize everything to one control and on the Phone! :+1::+1::partying_face::exploding_head:

Hello everyone. Now that I can reply to these comments I wanted to see how everything is still working. Especially you @PreyBird1 and @nacho151. Do either of you have the CO2 sensor? Looking forward to all good and bad feedback!

I have the co2 sensor and it’s weird watching how the co2 levels change. I use exhale bags and it’s neat to see how the co2 levels fluctuate. My co2 levels get up to 1000 ppm, then drop to 290 ppm’s when the exhaust fans kick on. During darkness the co2 levels stay up because the exhaust fans don’t run as much.

CO2 is added to increase photosynthesis correct? I think optimal photosynthesis is around 1500 or 1800 ppm. Ambient CO2 is around 400 ppm. What is the cost of CO2 addition? I have seen and read of CO2 addition, but i don’t know a system that can maintain the numbers needed to boost the chemical equation. I do like being proven wrong.
Optimal CO2 is actually 1000-1200 so i may actually need to look into.

Everything I’ve read is keep the co2 ppm in the range you posted. The only way that I know of at the moment to keep those numbers consistent would to use a closed co2 injection system in an airtight room. For a small home grow that would be pretty costly. The exhale bags even with the low co2 ppm’s do seem to help. I got a free one and used it in my third grow and saw improvements with a little co2 added compared to my 1st couple of grows and have been using them ever since.

@gandolfguerilla The CO2 sensor add-on is $199 and it comes with all other preexisting readings (light, dew point, VPD, temp & humidity). You are trying to maintain levels of 1500-1800, is that correct?

I love the niwa grow hub works great for my other setup and i like being able to run that tent setup from my phone!. I have 8 complete tent set ups including Lights, fans, humidifiers, ozone generators, air filters. My last hydro run i only ran the light intensity up to 51% of 680 watts. I had my best light, best fan. So i want to get my one hydro tent running all the best equipment. I just a new vivosun oscillating pole fan and i need to set up the new a/c infinity humidifier i had waiting to go.

I thought about grow hubs for automation , then my brother , who used trolmaster and the hive. Said it’s even easy for indoor home setups. Google home app and WiFi plugs control whatever you want from one app. Lol. I already have WiFi plugs can get 4 packs on Amazon for 20$ …ea plug rated for 1200 watts link as many as you need :+1::+1::v: also the offer outdoor and heavy duty for higher loads all done through Alexa or google home
