I’ve been looking for a very active Forum .
It’s been a while , dusting off my old equipment and doing some reading realize maybe my lights are due for an upgrade . Getting a grow planned out with emphasis on a 6 plant limit . Should I try to grow trees on a Scrog for big trees maybe 4 in a 5x10 in a insulated space . So longer veg more mature plants or should I try more plants 6 shorter veg ?
Here’s my setup
5x10
800 cfc exhaust fan
400 cc’s intake fan on speed controller
Full sub panel
Sentinel Controller Lights , fans , pumps , c02
Vented and cooled with fans 1000 watt HPS , 1000 watt MH and a 600 watt HPS
I’m considering 2 Photon Tech 1000 CO2 PRO
The idea is to get as much quality flower as we can from this space with adding CO2 later ?
I know this is a blast of light for a 5x10 but being able to dim is a great feature and running less bars as needed .
So the upcoming grow plan is
Run the 2 1000 watt sealed and vented old lights or
Upgrade to Led and possibly need to add heat during cold weather .
4-6 5 gallon hempy buckets with auto watering .
Run 6-9 GH nutes In Canna Coco
Running Grand Daddy Purps
Anyone running Grow Dots layered ?
Thanks feels good to have the time to grow again and make my own medicine.
You have come to the right place. This is an active forum -family, not the biggest, there isn’t hundreds of active members, but there are tens! More importantly it’s a great and helpful bunch, a good mix of newbs, experienced & master growers.
Interesting what you’ve got coming up. I’ll be following! You sure want to grow big girls! I don’t have one, big 5x10 tent but multiple smaller tents instead, but in that space I would be planting 8-10 plants when in 5 galls, for comparison. 6-8 weeks veg in coco, topped once, supercropped and that under those Photontek’s you mentioned, with xtra co2. Ooh man I can see nice grows coming!
I love Photontek - Lumatek. I’m sure that 1000W CO2 PRO model is a straight up beast! I have no experience with that particular model but a good mate grows under the Lumatek 1000W Zeus and that one is already a monster, so this ‘superior’ successor must be too! I have a couple 300 Watts from Lumatek.
Yeah that light is a good choice I reckon. Considering the enormous ppfd output it is definitely recommended to add co2 indeed.
