Got out of the Marine Corps went into nuclear security. Married an ER nurse that got hit by a patient. So I switched to hospital security. But now I’m a stay at home dad that takes care of the kids because our baby is disabled and we didn’t want to put him in a long term care facility.

@LoCoRocK it was a pink stuffed rabbit. But I have heard teddy bears work just as well. But that person is still missing. Hogs do amazing work so much better then alligators or sharks. So when’s the next camp fire?

Lol i dont care man. Not bad had sugery last night. Kinda fixed my wound. Cleaned new wound vacuum sponge installed. And some sort of device placed in for 10 days while they evaluate the ct scan from last night to see what’s left of the left radial artery. Then i get discharged for 10 days and back to finish the graft. Or the hand to stomache bonding graft. So i will be back in the hospital regardless in 10 days.

At least you can be free for a little while. Good to hear surgery went well though. Just take it easy and heal.

In 10 days. If there is some artery left it will be a small graft attached to the artery for blood supply. If not suture left hand to stomache and the stomche skin cut to go over wrist and sewn in place because it has a supply of blood. Then in 6 weeks when wrist is healed they sever the skin from stomache and close that small part of skin off.

I’m glad your doing good @PreyBird1 and getting out of the hospital again. I read all your stories about your twilight experiences on Ketamine. I prefer when our doc’s use propofol and versed to sedated our patients. You don’t usually here crazy stories from the patients. But Ketamine works really fast and has a paralytic effect so that’s why alot of doc’s use it.
One huge suggestion I have for you brother is get to taking some probiotics asap. With all the antibiotics you’ve been getting, your healthy gut flora has been destroyed. The last thing you want to get is CDIFF.
Only probiotics that have a coating to get through your stomach acid, and can then dissolve in your intestines work. Keep that in mind. I use absorbbiotics and they’re made right down there in your neck of the woods.

Oh yeah scotty your right but ive seen way more gore than this. And flying metal is serious business. Ive seen eyes messed up. Piece of a socket break off and hit my brothers lower abdomin and penetrate almost to his gal bladder. Ive seen a ball joint after it was heated explode and hit a mechanic in the leg after it ricoched off the floor almost blew his leg off. I can go on but it will just sicken you guys more.
