No. I had a bad motorcycle accident landspeed racing before in 2012 and i had to have open heart surgery to save me. And the radial artery from my left wrist was used to save my torn circumflex artery on my heart. Now when i crashed my left wrist got crushed. Now that artery is gone they cant close the wound due to lack of blood flow. Or it could hyprrcoagulate and jeopardize my hand. Traditional Graft cant work due to no blood flow.

Tomorrow at @ 5:30 a.m. i go into the hospital to close the wound. Using stomache flap graft to close it.

You must be the first case so it’s a team…? Microsurgeon must be around too. Sounds like you are in good hands but I will say a prayer and wish you luck all the same. Please let us know how you are doing once you are all rested and recovered.

Yes the best orthopedic surgeon and the best plastic surgeon. The plastic surgeon is the micro surgeon also. But you would know that. @truthhound the plastic surgeon said he has done a couple and it works very well. But he said sucky thing is the hand is stuck for 4 weeks to your side. The orthopedic surgeon seems excited to be part of it.

4-6 weeks brother. Then they remove it from the stomache side and finish sewing it down to the wrist.
