I have a question about the Aerogarden. Is the light on it removable?

I wouldn’t say “Removable” but you can definitely remove it😂

They make a lot of cool options, im actually making something for my girlfriend w a 2 x 4 box. it’s going to be sort of like a book shelf of plants. the cannabis part will be enclosed w 3 120mm fans running up the back. the carbon filter is going to be all hidden on the bottom and come up vertically in the box, the plant will rest on a removable trey which will also be used as a small vent, which is about a .5 inch by 16in slit on both sides. i’ve tried to do a lot research on this box because 2 x 4 can either yield a lot, or absolutely nothing cause I heard it’s a weird size to control climate.

What water pump on/off cycle are you using to grow your plants with in your aerogarden?

I use the one it actually came with surprisingly, it’s quite powerful and has done just fine. I would say just make sure you clean it, and guide all the roots in a direction that isn’t going to get caught in the screen. also adding atleast 1/4 a cup of 3% alcohol will make sure fungus can’t grow what so ever, it’s only a .75 gallon res so i’m really only expecting this plant to get 1-2 feet.

I should have asked how long pump is on and how long off time is. Lol!

I was looking at your plants and liked what I saw, so I am working on making a 5 gallon aeroponic bucket. Now I’m looking for a good water cycle for cannabis! Lol! I just found out in the manual it’s 5 minutes on 25 minutes off. Thanks!

Sounds Awesome! i’m excited to see it, I would suggest looking at bubblers. this was my first grow so I will be working in a lot of projects for it as well. Bubblers are good for the roots I guess, and my suggestion would be get 3 buckets. one for growing the plant w a fish pump exchanging water to the next bucket, this bucket will hold a water purifier w another fish pump sending it to the third bucket which can hold ur PH Controller and where you will be feeding this plant from, you will then send the water through another tube into ur main bucket. all of the pumps can be set to be controlled manually which will be great because you can exchange the waters when you want to.

I already have a bucket bubbler, I’m just going to add a water pump and manifold in it.
