Hi everyone so I’m in Day 10 of flowering and I’m seeing powdery Mildew on a lot of my fan leaves. I don’t know why because I haven’t had any humidity being I live in the Northeast and it’s actually dry and perfect for flowering. I also have three oscillating fans in the tent and I have a lot of air flow so can anybody give me reasons why I’m experiencing powdery mildew. I bought growers Ally fungicide. Does anybody have any experience with this is this safe to spray on the plants in the buds I already drenched them a few times cuz I honestly don’t know what to do. Any advice would be helpful thank you!! I’m growing Bahama Mama from solfire seeds and I really don’t want to mess lose this crop I’ve seen pics of the buds and they look incredible.
Looks like your farther into flower than 10 days. Your fan leaves are yellowing and the buds are bigger than 10 days. If i was to guess your more like 50days into flower. Not sure if 10 days was a typo. Because at 10 days of flower there are no buds yet and the plants start to show a lot more female flowers before even budding. As for the powdery mildew its usually in the air or environment as spores and can thrive indoors is not managed. Ive never had that issue. I have had botrytis or bud rot but never PM so im not much help. But a lot of folks use this hypochloric acid for this exact PM purpose and for making high quality cleaner solutions
I’m very sad about this and I’m going to scrap them . People say once it’s there it’s almost impossible to manage. I was experimenting and I grew two photos and two autos in the same grow tent so the auto’s finished and then I flipped my photos to flower. That’s why they are so tall. So I think its a lost cause I’m very sad but chopping them today . Thanks always fr the advice though preybird !!!
Nah I swear I’m only ten to fifteen days into flower!!! The looks and angle might be deceiving! The buds aren’t that big !!!
Please take this as help and not criticism…Your plants don’t look very healthy, and when a plant isn’t healthy, it will get pathogens that it would normally be able to fight off and not become a problem. As Prey mentioned a lot of the guys got the hypochlorous systems to deal with mildews, molds and fungus infections. If you don’t have the money or don’t want to spend it you can also spray them down with a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution and kill it off. Cheap and available at the grocery or pharmacy or even the dollar store,.
And since you already soaked them down with that it’s kind of late to be asking if it’s ok. Read the bottle and see if it is intended for food crops and the latest it can be used before harvest.

@spades90 Looks like your pretty much covered. There are a lot of things to use, but as mentioned the health of the plant, and environment are the biggest thing in my experience. I’ve been down the nasty road of WPM and it sucks. Once I see it I spray the hypochlorous acid, then remove the leaves that have it. If it’s in flower I don’t even try to save the plant because of the dangers that shit brings if smoked. My suggestion is clean your tent, equipment etc. Make sure your environment is spot on.
This stuff work as well. Maybe have on hand and use as a prevention
