Reverse Osmosis water system on a tight budget?

I’ve seen it on ig so I’m sure he has it on his YouTube channel also. Northernscroggers did a run where he added hlg lights under the scrog for a grow to see what happened and I wanna say he said buds grew to the light made for a little different looking plant but he didn’t feel like the bottom lighting did any good from memory it just helped harden some of the bottom buds and created the buds to grow down to the light. Also I believe he stated he thought is was more of a waste of energy as it didn’t really up the pLant like he was hoping for. This dude has some killer scrogs

Over the years, I’ve seen quite a few people put in under lighting/side lighting. None of them are doing it anymore. That speaks volumes to me. That’s just another thing I choose not to learn for myself. I’ve seen too many others make the mistake of wasting money and time on doing that. Lighting is probably your biggest expense. Overdoing it is just a waste.

It looks like your canopies full from side to side of your tent. It might be a good time to switch to flower. it might be a good time to lollipop them puppies wait a couple of days and switch to flower lighting.

Your plants look healthy to me in these pictures…:+1:t3::+1:t3::v:t3:

You know, I was thinking of going ahead and changing the light schedule to only 12 hrs on to begin flower phase. I am going to start it this Saturday. I have never lollipoped one, so is that just cutting off most every leaf to just have the stem and flowering clumps remain?

Caveat: I am still learning- For me I remove pretty much everything 12-18 inches below the Bud/Top except for some fan leaves. I have learned to hate trimming larf so I try not to produce very much of it. My plants don’t seem to mind and the chop/dry/trim is a lot easier.

I am still deep in the learning phase myself. I thought growing these plants was pretty much like my regular gardening growing hot peppers and veggies. Boy, was I wrong. But I am enjoying it!
Your plant looks yuge, and I think I am going to lollipop mine today. Even the ones already in flower stage.

Be careful in the flower stage. Aggressive defoliation in flower my affect yield if the plants get too stressed. I’ve received that warning in the past but I was stoned so don’t ask me when or from whom so…

If you hit that magnifying glass up on the right hand side, and type in lolly popping, you will find explanations. That works really good. There’s an explanation of how to do it in there from me and others. :+1:t3::v:t3:

I do this first it saves a lot of typing :+1:t3::+1:t3::+1:t3:
