I have to say…
That’s pretty funny. Just the thought of a whole town smelling like cannabis is an amusing one. Probably not too good for public image, but still funny.

There’s an implication here that needs further exploration. Currants are packed full of anthocyanins. Anthocyanin and anthocyaninids are the green absorbing pigment in cannabis. But is also a UV blocker. Hmmmmm
