Run off from humidifier

So long story short, I’ll have 8, 5 gallon mesh pots in a 4x2 and I’m concerned about run off from humidifier into my plants! Will this need to be addressed or not?

What brand and model is the humidifier?

It’s AC Infinity and all I put in it is r/o water.

The smaller model. I’ve just purchased a larger one that holds 4 x as much water for my 4x4. Smaller one wasn’t sufficient. All AC Infinity

If it’s a Cloudforge T3 and it is releasing a mist and no droplets on the leaves it shouldn’t be a problem, just inspect your leaves and buds for mold and bud rot. The Cloudforge Gen 2 I think has a better mist than the Gen 1, in my opinion. @Slym3r may have a better answer for you.

I just checked and I got the cloudforge t7 coming. Thing looks like a beast

But thank you, when I get to that stage I’ll remember that. :+1:

Agreed with Nach0151. I have a CloudForge T7 for my 4x4. I never had any condensation issues in terms of droplets of the leaves. I only get a touch of condensation on the tent (slight moisture to touch but never forming droplets or runoff) when I am trying to get heavy humidity during the early seedling and vegetative stage. I am now maintaining a VPD of 1.2 during the light cycle for my 8 autos and the tent is dry and working great!

Do you have your t7 in the tent or do you have it outside shooting in? The other thing I noticed is that the t7 is a 240v! I bought a step up/ step down converter. Did you do anything like that?

Hey there!

You can have you humidifier in either position, it is all about whether or not it takes up needed floor space in your tent.

When I did my first grow, I kept it inside the tent but quickly moved it to external since my canopy needed as much tent space as possible. Plus, it was hard to bend over and refill, mainly because I am 6’6.

My recommendation would be to have it outside the tent with the hose feeding through one of your middle slots in your tent. You want to be careful that the position of the hose as well as the end of the hose points vertical with no horizontal bend, as it can cause water buildup within the hose. This should set you up for max space and ease of refilling!

In terms of the 240 V, I didn’t need to do any conversions since my house is 240 standard.

I hope all is well!
