Recently ordered some seeds through a seedbank (Herbies) which cost around $90 AUD/$65 USD. It was the price for 3 + 1 of Bruce Banner with delivery and insurance. I did get some freebies, but we are talking 9 seeds all up, $10 per seed. Initially thought it was ok, but only half seem to germ
I just ordered from a different place same $$ figure, but got 24 seeds. Nearly triple the qty for the same price. It got me to thinking, how to cut through the BS seedbanks.
What are some of the BS seedbanks you have come across? What was your success rate with those seeds etc. Curious to hear from everyone and create a list of no go vs hell yeah seedbanks for future Growmies.
I can admit not all seedbanks are the same. i have never purchased directly from an Australian seed bank but I did do work for one and they seem legit, Aussie Hemp Seeds

Have you tried this place. If you can get them shipped in that is. These guys shipped to usa. They have some killer oldschooll genetics. See everything we want they have normally. Its all rare strains to us. But them nah…..They want the weed we have. And guess what we dont ship there. Customs gets a lot of shit. Birthday cards with seeds make it 98% of the time. Toys work also like you have. When my seeds shipped in from amsterdam they came with legos and a toy kit and a shirt! And it made it through.
These guys are sneaky. They have you pay one place and send a link to add shipping address to a whole different company. Was odd but i got the seeds. I had a freind @MrMonkey420 that used to live in amsterdam man that cool kat sent me some badass seeds. I have them in the vault. Im growing some hash plant now he sent me and i havent seen that in the usa since 2003 ive been looking for it since i smoked it! Its hard to find a Real hash plant state side. I have a male i kept out of a couple males. And i have a few females. Im going to pollinate some of my cultivars with my lavender pollen and see what we can create.
Yeah, it’s easy to forget about the UK banks when there is so much hype stateside, but their stealth shipping game is usually on point. Definitely worth a look if you are hunting for something specific that the US banks don’t carry.
