my cannabis seeds won’t sprout, i’ve usually just put the seeds in soil and they have always grown. It’s been 3 days with a consistent temp/humidity of (Temp: 72 degrees) with a (65% Humidity) in the room. I put bags over the seeds with lots of holes, when I looked at the seed inside the right pot, the seed has basically turned black. The seed on the left is still a great color just hasn’t sprouted.

Try doing a 12-24 hr soak prior then put into soil, or until you see some tap root then plant. Sometimes the soil biology and stuff destroys the seed prior to sprouting. Also go to store and get clear solo cups to cover just mist cup and place atop the pot or spot you planted. Hope i make sense and hope this helps a bit.

Also until they sprout and pop out of the soil, no need to waste the electric on your light. I’ve had that happen many a time, it’s just part of growing.

I used to soak my seeds by tapping them to make them sink. I read a method where you float the seeds in complete darkness for 3 days. The thinking is that it has access to all the oxygen it needs. My success ratio increased dramatically.

Usually when u put a seed into water or get it wet to sprout it does turn a darker color almost black look for the most part. Close to popping then. Try to soak seeds in a shot glass of water with a half cap full of peroxide soak for 12 to 24 hrs then dump onto paper towel and leave on there til u see a tail form then shove it in a medium. U’ll know whether she does something or not this way. Usually a day soak a day in paper towel. Do all this in a warm dark spot. Wherever u have a natural warm spot top of fridge on top of a veg light that stays on 24hra or so ect and cover with a box to keep light out. I don’t I just leave them to sprout without covering and it works just fine.
