Have a question regarding th Bruce Banner III form Zamnesia.
It’s in week 10 and it started to flower.
Soil is Plagron Batmix, so gave it nothing for 6 weeks and in week 7 gave it a compost tea of Worm castings, bat guano and a tiny bit of alfalfa meal. PPM at 1000, ph at 6.5.
untill now the leaves had always had the nice deep green seen on the left in one of the pics, but the new growth seems off.
Now that it has gone into flower I’m worried that it’s showing signs of deficiency, am I right? wrong?
Any and all advice would be appreciated.
Looks like she might like a little heavier on the feed brother. To me that happens when lights are too close or feed is lacking some strength or heat issues. Hope i could help all in all, they look pretty darn healthy! I would try a ppm of 1200 for couple of days to see how she takes it.
They look good. I might raise my lights about 2 or 3 inches. It will make them get taller and that will make more room for the leaves so they stretch properly.
Look at the distance between branch sets. It should be about 3/4 to 1 inch. Yours are on top of each other. To me, that means raise the lights.
Spiderfarmer 1000, it was running at 80% capacity, I lowered it to 70% and it hangs a little over 2ft over the plants. Can’t raise it any higher. Thanks!
It should be fine at 24" away. I would look at nutes, rather than the light. Up your nutes and turn it back up, flowering likes more light than veg. I run the SF 4000.
What kind of setup do you have? Tent? or just a pot in a corner of a room? I’m trying to figure out where your stuff is in relation to each other…
Diagnosing plants can be tricky. And even with multiple answers you can still have lots of correct responses. You might need more nutes and less light could do the same thing for you.
The thing is, something is out of balance and until you figure out which element it is, changing any of them could help or hurt.
I’m just making a tea, a tablespoon of guano, 2 tblsp worm castings and 1/2 tea spoon alfalfa meal.
Put some molasses in it too, going to let it brew till tomorrow. I have the brew sitting on the central heating. Not too hot, just a bit above room temp. Would the added heat help?
Also there was a suggestion of 1200 ppm, what do you guys think about that?
It’s a small tent, 3ft by 3ft, and about 5ft tall. It has 2 plants and a seedling in there at the mo. This one is a 5 gallon fabric pot.
I’ve been watering with dechlorinated tap water, Ph between 6 and 6.5 (always), I usually water every 4 to 5 days, depending on how she looks, if the soil is properly dry then i water it. I use dry nutes and I usually water about 1/2 (or a bit more) gallon, until I get some decent run-off.
I’ll post some more pics tomorrow, she’s sleeping now
Never heard of that soil myself so can’t say what’s in it. I’d use dolomite lime and Epsom salts in soil u can feed that also along with your bat guano. You can’t over do earthworm casting and hard to over do bat guano to. Might check your npk of your guano they have bat guano for veg or flower that’s different npk… Gotta change up your nutes for flower
That must be one of them thar auto plants
My tea is at 1100ppm now, so might add a tblsp of worm castings, the npk of the guano is 13, 12, 2.5.
Guano seems a bit heavy on N for the grow cycle, what do you think?
