I’ve heard good and bad about topping a Autoflower and wanted the opinion of a few of you??
I top everything
It’s kinda of a personal opinion
My brother like herdcore disagrees and he’s the one who tought me alot of what I know
Got me so fucking nervous right now to top the auto flowers some people say you don’t because they’re so fast it doesn’t have time to rebound the right way and some people say if you top them you get a bigger yield
Yeah iv seen I go both ways so it’s up to u
When do u add more carbon dioxide to your plants @shmodyshmott
I am not against auto flowers… I started there and still do a strain for a test… I am just full on photo and fem or reg (when I want a male)…I just have no use for autos where I am in my growing foot print…at the moment…lol…
That CO2 comment has me wondering… what is your set up as… if it isn’t correct you absolutely waste your money…
I have a 4x2x5 tent with with a decent humidifier and decent leds with exhaust inline fan for in and out airflow @Ladithief
That’s fine for for the size u jus don’t have to run it on full blast it will make a small diff but @Ladithief w the size of the tent u be jus as good as spraying w a clean seltzer
Ment to say @Ladithief is right ur jus as good as jus using a clean Seltzer spray
And when I introduce is usually the end of my mild veg but I have a 90 x90x90 and a small station for cloning in my 10 by 15 room
to each their own - my last auto was lollipop for 6 hours x 2 days. the plant thought I topped it and I ended up with 3 main colas… th end product was 100g dried after 4 weeks veg & 12 weeks flower
What is seltzer spray
So they ghetto way we use to introduce carbon to our plants is diluting a non flavord low sugar seltzer water diluted w distilled so instead of using the co2 filter u jus but a pack of decent seltzer and put it in a spray bottle and spray 2 times a day will save money if ur only doing 1 plant
Oh okay lol I think I can do that
Quick question if the plant gets a nute burn is that plant a loss now or go you still grow it to flower?? @Ladithief @shmodyshmott
It is not a loss until it’s affected the buds or more than hlf the plant to the point of no return
Burns don’t heal on a plant… so when you stop the burn and correct the issue all new growth will be worth it… thus never a loss of a plant… just less of a plant…
